When you think about it, we're all cattle. whether you work everyday or drain the economy with welfare.
there is not true happiness

The vast majority of people are compliant with the way the world works. If the cattle (most people) wanted real change it would happen very fast and nobody could stop it. Its not the the elite or whatever boogie man you want to blame this on but the average every day citizen. You live in the world you deserve.

its nice to think but impossible without a central figure. People always go with what seems comfortable. The government is comfortable.

So what? It's pretty stupid and pointless to keep pondering this question, it's something entirely out of our control.

thats the point, if we're not in control of our future. then why are we contributing

Contributing to what? You mentioned people who infamously don't commit to anything and suck off the welfare, these people don't contribute, they are a drain. If you are talking about wagecucking, then people ate not doing it because they want to "contribute", we do it because we live in a society where we need to wagecuck so we can receive our goybux and pay our bills and buy goyslop to survive. Some wagecuck because this gives them a sense of meaning. But no one do it because of kindness to Mr. Shekelgrabber and the "contribute to soiciety" thing is a cope normalcattle uses because there are still parts of them that didn't conformed with their state of being and lash their frustrations on something (people who don't "contribute" i.e NEETs).
We should concern ourselves with stuff that are immediately within our control like our mental state, our wellbeing, our safety and the welfare of the people and things we care about, learn to enjoy the finer things in life, etc, not about what normalcattles, who doesn't even question why things are the way they do and if they ever question it, they'll get into wrong conclusions, they are the collective, you are the individual, focusing on these things is what'll put you in control of your future.

dude, even if that's mostly the reason why people say/believe that, because they want something to lash out on, there's still truth to it
the whole fucking point of currency and all this other shit is to incentivize people to contribute to society
it was created/envisioned by people, and it can be changed

it's too bad space travel doesn't exist, I'd colonize a planet with a bunch of like minded individuals. it'd be keyed as hell.

Wholeheartedly agree
You cant say the everything surrounding that isn't fucked though. almost like a human emotion trap, cause they know you'll pay top dollar for your loved ones

yeah man
the whole world feels strangely claustrophobic now, with all the gloablism and everything
the only way to have something similar to the american revolution at this point would be through space travel, and it would be based

You are right.

I mean, you can be absolutely aware of how fucked the environment is, but that's mostly stuff that are completely out of our control, we'd need some sort of "Great Awakening" among the normalcattle masses if we expect (positive) changes. Being aware of it is a thing, now caring too much, thinking too much about it will lead us to nowhere but unnecessary mental distress and suffering.
