I'm mostly of Spanish descent. That doesn't mean I'm gonna support every single imperialistic action ever taken by the Spanish Empire, such as deporting the North African Moors and Jewish people from their country, enslaving millions of Amerindians, black people, and native peoples of the Philippines, or spreading Christianity by the sword.
Yes, I know Spanish people are considered "brown" by the standards of Northern Europeans, but it would still be racist if I became an apologist for the Spanish Empire or talked about the Spanish people's inherent superiority.
Likewise, if you were a genuinely commited anti-racist Thai person of Chinese descent, you would understand that many of the 四夷 were oppressed and persecuted during many periods in Chinese history, why, even today as the PRC is persecuting Tibetians and Uyghurs. Any kind of belief in supremacy can lead towards the adoption of eugenics-like measures, something that was practised in the American South during the Jim Crow laws era and is currently practised in the PRC. Therefore, it is unfair to other people to speak of one's ethnic group's own superiority while alleging others to be racist.
