is my brother a gang member? should i be worried?
i'm his younger sister (17)
brother is 28 and had a habit of mixing with the wrong crowd
he wears nothing but grey Nike tracksuits, baseball caps and Nike Air Max no matter where he's going OR what the weather is like
has a gold ear piercing and gets his eyebrows trimmed
says "mush", I think this means the same thing as "mate"
wears a gold chain around his neck
i think nothing of it until i see a group of his friends who all dress and speak the EXACT same way like it's some kinda gang uniform
all of them are white
all of them have the same weird haircut where the top looks like a bowl cut and the sides are trimmed verry short
my brother watches videos that have other groups of people literally all dressing and speaking the same way and they have this same vaguely gangster type of attitude
For Americans reading the best way I can describe this is like a mix of redneck and gangsta
Most of them choose not to work and call themselves "dole dossers"
When I asked my mum about it, she was like, "oh they're a different class to you, I shouldn't judge, they're good people really"
