You know what happened in the U.S. just two generations ago?
Nothing.
And weapons were even easier to get than they are now.
Schoolboys used to carry rifles to class, once upon a time, and teachers would go out shooting with them.
And life was peaceful.
This violence has NOTHING to do with guns.

okay okay so you wanna blame "modern sickness" sure there's some truth to that
but keeping guns legal when "modern sickness" people make up 99% of the population seems kinda fucked

The exact scenario wasn't extraordinarily common but it wasn't unheard of. Kids as young as ten being armed genuinely wasn't that weird, depending on the time and location.
But mass shootings are a very new thing.

I actually think it's even more important to stay armed, as society changes and things get more violent.
I trust the majority of people to not be violent murderers
I don't trust violent murderers to follow gun laws
At least let the innocent people have a chance to defend themselves when the police aren't there yet

It... does?
>but he died due to a gun
He died due to a lunatic using a gun. the tool didn't kill him. Even if you banned guns, someone would've used another tool to kill him.

Shows where? The only people who don't believe this are retarded leftist who just want to take away or restrict the average law abiding-gun owning citizen. The last I check the vast majority of the country is right leaning and the charlie kirk shooting is only going to make them lean more right.
You lost. And you haven't learn anything from it. SAD!

The police can't arrive immediately at any life or death scenario. That's why I own a gun. I don't live in a safe environment, so I want make sure that I at least have a chance of survival.
