If you're not gonna I'm going to. I picked up AC Origins over the weekend for $10 and didn't like it. Barely got into it too. Knowing they retconned the brotherhood origin just burns my ass. Sure sure try to appreciate it for what it is instead of expecting it to be like the old content but this was too much. I like Odyssey a lot and Valhalla is decent but I can see that Ubisoft was still experimenting in Origins. Don't get me wrong I enjoy the RPG mechanics and fast paced combat but I think Odyssey was really the flash in the pan for the modern games.
I haven't played Mirage or Shadows yet because I haven't finished Valhalla but I'm not too keen on Mirage being about Basim or the idea of shining the light on the black samurai. I guess we can't make Asian men look masculine anymore.
I really hope their next game doesn't pander because it feels like the last 3 have been really diverse for no reason.

I'll still play the games but I can't guarantee I'll enjoy them.

Odyssey didn't pander and it was really good. There's a quest where you "help" and old man's wife get some herbs to help with his ED but instead you can choose to just bang her out for multiple days while the husband sits on the porch lol
