If you could show a uncontacted tribe a movie.
If you could you visit a uncontacted tribe a movie, what movie would you show them?

Assuming you they haven't shot you full of arrows and they haven't died from the disease your brought.

I would show them 28 Years Later.

I think they would be able to resonate with the father son bond.p

The whole Lord of the Rings trilogy (extended collectors edition of course)
If that doesn't count as "a" movie, which it probably shouldn't, maybe My Neighbor Totoro?

I wonder if they would be able to comprehend it. I don't think they'll be subtitles in their languages, they'll just have to rely on looking at the facial expressions.

They would definitely notice that each episode different because of the different clothes and the order of events.

I hadn't thought of this, do you think their reaction would be the same as ours?

I've never actually seen The Lord of The Rings, it's ones of those big things that everyone but me has seen you know?

I'll probably watch it someday.

If they have any reaction but disgust, exterminate them

Also I rewatched The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya yesterday.

That movie and the series will always have a special place in my heart.

I recommend the book too
Very different experience from modern fantasy novels, if you don't have an appreciation the beauty of language you won't get it

Mall cop is one of the most unfunny films to the point that liking it became a meme, generally when people talk about it positively they are being ironic

Its worth watching for sure. Its more of a cult classic due to being a bit weird rather than it being like earth shatteringly good but its a nice comfy show and i like it :3

I first watched the series and the movie when I was 12 so it had that sort of "magic" feel to it.
The animation was so great and music too.

It's sad that almost all the people who made it died in that fire.

Id imagine it would have been a lot more magical at that age :) i wasnt really allowed to watch tv as a kid and always avoided anime for the most part as a teenager becauase i knew i was already into enough nerdy shit that most ppl at school wouldnt speak to me and i saw how weebs were treated so i didnt rlly get into anime untill after i left highschool in 2013 so i missed out on the whole 2000s era of anime :(
Kinda a shame because i imagine a lot of those shows wouldve been a lot better as a kid/teenager
>fire
Wtaf how did i miss that happening (⊙_⊙)
