Also, there's the issue of heat transfer
Heat can only transfer via convection, conduction, or radiation (air movement, touch, or photons)
There's no air on the moon, so zero convection
Very little parts of the lander or the astronauts were touching the surface, so very little heat would transfer that way
Radiation is the only real way that heat would transfer, hence all the white suits and reflective coating on the LEM
