It’s really sad the only reason some people think I don’t look “white” are like really relatively minor differences I think

But I think it’s because I look sort of Mediterranean basically but I may find such features attractive in women from time to time, some features that are considered more white or whatever look kind of weird to me to be honest, like big flared noses, I see these certain kind of noses all the time where like the bottom of the nose (not the bridge the bottom)
Where like your nostrils are they’re like really big compared to the bridge it’s like this weird nose I started noticing became like really common or something where as in the past I don’t recall really seeing it at all. It’s just I have really high pronounced cheekbones and kind of a pronounced jawline too. Anyway my point is they look like northern or albino (Nordic maybe) Celtic pale monkeys whatever you want to call them.

But I think straight up some people think I’m like subhuman or something because of how I look I wish people could see that instead I almost have idealized eastern features but they are sort of offset by my cheekbones and jawline to an extent

Basically I think I am probably a perfect candidate for like jaw sawing that I think so many people get these days especially Asians and Koreans but I don’t think I would go under the knife for such a thing I don’t know if cheekbones and jawline are really considered ugly or not if they’re pronounced enough

People don’t say it but I wonder if people think I look like some Turkic Mongolian Russian admixture almost as bad as a Gypsy I wonder if that’s what comes into their minds when they see me some people think of things like that for some reason even though it’s not really true I don’t think or adequate

As far as eastern idealized look I could almost pass off for a jomon almost well sort but here’s a Japanese guy with similar bone structure his cheekbones are relay similar except mine are bigger I think :’(

Here is the church, I felt scenes like this just sort of fell flat and didn’t really move me, I guess I just felt like they lacked soul or something, the original had a lot more vibrant use of colors and in trying to be realistic they lost a lot of feeling and depth. It’s just almost kind of dull, I don’t know what they were going for exactly I guess they were really trying with this entree to be the most like a western movie then they had ever gone before. Like a big budget movie or something, but I don’t know they could have at least designed the church to sort of have more feeling in the design or something, kind of feel like Hollywood could have done better with the right budget.

But this was there chance to be spiritual again, and where was it? It didn’t really seem like there was anything they could have at least emphasized the contrast between the church and all the debris and metal around them it would have been more moving and interesting in fact it was kind of supposed to be a major scene I think the dilapidated church that Aerith spends all her time at like wtf

But I wonder what they’re getting at exactly or if they just failed at this or if it was all intentional

Something like that I’m not really sure, I guess the church is abandoned almost completely
And it’s this great refuge for her. Someone said she’s like a Christ like figure, I’m not sure if that’s wholly accurate firstly because she’s a woman, I’m not really sure what they’re getting at entirely with her. If she’s supposed to be that holy and spiritual of a figure, I didn’t really get that sense from her.

See, I basically wonder just how much layers of meaning that green has in the game, from a first impression it seems to almost represent multiple things, but it seems almost mysterious in that it’s so broad and vague, hinting at so many different interpretations.

I’m not even fully sure what it means I guess in some instances like I have some idea but I’m not sure how to describe it, obviously it is supposed to represent the lifestream/energy from the planet but it’s also supposed to represent the machinations of shinra and their great power, it also serves to represent this almost evil energy that shinra is able to harness and possess, and when that’s taking place it’s not really as spiritual as much, whose to say just how spiritual it is altogether it’s also represented as this kind of after effect from over harnessing it’s energy and it can be likened to radioactivity in a sense. It’s like this over industrialized toxic byproduct as well, it’s used for all kinds of reasons, to mutate and such different beings and species, to create fiends (monsters)

So I guess im just not sure how it all fits together exactly

I don’t think Aerith is really meant to be religious, on the idea that she is supposedly Christ like. If they were to actually really portray Aerith as religious at all, I think she would be a lot different. The characteristics that are commonly associated with and the portrayal of a devotedly religious person is kind of a specific and noticeable way, it would change how she is portrayed quite drastically I think. I can’t help but think religion is almost against how Aerith is shown to be in some way.

Like they would also probably need to pour on the religion undertones and that would also change the imagery quite a lot, hence FF7 is not overtly religious per-say.

I’m not sure how I would describe it as being against her, I just think she’d be a lot more serious and fragile almost, and everything she did would be a lot more weighted.

There is this one scene though where they almost do that, give her that impression.

This scene right here is where she is shown as being the most otherworldly I guess she is able to see into the future enough that she predicts she could die and that she has a special connection to the planet, but that’s a really different take on spirituality or religion I am not really familiar with, a special connection with the planet? But like I said this is the most otherworldly and self aware Aerith has mostly been shown to being, so I’m not really sure what it means. It’s really hard to get that cutscene, you have to do a lot to unlock it otherwise you just get plain ol Tifa.’

I wonder what they could be implying giving Aerith almost religious connotations here? I don’t get it.
