I don't get the appeal of le BASICALLY owning and operating basically my own server facility myself when a literal company that rents out servers could LITERALLY do all of that tedious manually labor that they are already doing


when I buy a bunch of servers to run myself, I become liable for any damages or faulty hardware, plus the literal AQUARIUM-esque conditions I have to store them in (le cold temperature, no dust or humidity)
