Food delivery should be illegal, life was much better than upon starving you were forced to go to a store to buy food instead of just doing 'ah freak it kebab it is, doesn't matter anyway'. Or maybe it's not the food delivery but being semi cut from mum food pipeline at home. One could neet all the time at home and not gain any weight, but the longer one lives at your own place the less you want to cook, maybe it's just cooking for just yourself feels like a chore. The only difference is when i make crepes or cookies that i bring to parents place. I mean, sure just getting rice and frying chicken is easy, but first you need to buy that chicken. Food deliveries are organizational killer, as in you don't NEED to plan ahead or rather even if you do, the moment you run out you don't go to store immediately, it's just a pain. holy fuck.

luckily I'm 1% jew so I can't stomach paying extra for food delivery in the first place.

You know the thing is that previous i had this nice "philosophy" that if you don't try something, you won't crave for it, and so far it's been true for anything i didn't try and what i tried. Really makes you think. I just need to develop superiority complex by not delivering again, that should do it.
>>23512264
Come we can talk about it, i'm in the middle of tidying the place up god knows how many times that happen too. It's so tiresome, and that too, not only you need to buy ingredients, you need to cook it, and then you need to clean everything up just to do it again and again.
>>23512269
I sure love having copycats and also being mistaken for someone else when i actually post something. Wonderful times.

Hah fair enough... not sure why i even made that thread, reading it makes me even more tired about it. Gonna do dishes now.

good luck with the dishes anon
this sort of work probably used to be more fulfilling when people were more self-reliant and independent
it's kind of a joke that we have billionaires and alot of hte technology we have but people still haven't gotten any more advanced than a dishwasher, and alot of people don't even have those
if you try to make yourself independent with a group of people, you're a "cult" and get ATF'd immediately
>>23512334
lol
gotta be better than that

on the other hand, that's probably resentment, and you can avoid it even though it's much easier to be resentful than it was in the past
just try to be grateful you get to eat with dishes and have running water and everything, and take pride once you're done washing them
it might help, idk

People in America dont even go to the grocery store anymore. They get everything delivered to their door at 30% markup and act like it is their god given privilege for this. Then they complain why they are lonely and can't save money.

I still go to the grocery store, but it's gotten so bad with foreigners being noisy and dirty that shopping is genuinely distressing. It wasn't like this 10 or 20 years ago, so I can see why many people just pay extra to avoid the unpleasant and often dangerous experience of going into an American supermarket.

You know that would be nice, or at least sometimes it's nice to think it would be nice. As in you just get a gf and abuse her and in reward she does all the menial tasks you would have to do yourself otherwise, and no don't ask why i say that, certainly i don't see that example a lot nowadays.
>>23512344
Yea and i think i would take it differently if i was living in a stand alone house, rather than just a segment along side others. It just doesn't feel mine, even though my part is. And don't get me started on dishwasher, i don't have space for it. But honestly, even though i bitch about dishes constantly, it's a nice break from technology, i can just skip time a bit like that. Reminds me of stuffing shelves in the past. You just sort of do it, and don't think.
>>23512351
Resentment is mostly towards myself, once the organization fails, and i opt for the easy option, which is always a sign of failure. Which lowers self worth, which later on leads to the same conclusion. If that's resentment... Then yes, and yes i know it's rather 'privileged' to complain about mundane stuff, which is only mundane because where the baseline(for me) is.
>>23512357
Seeing how many delivery drivers i see, it's not so far fetched to assume it's similar here, to some degree at least.
>>23512379
I would feel less bad if that was the case here, the worst case scenario is ukrainian who barely speaks polish.

"organization", "ORGANization"
the human body and the body of a cell are both just trying to stave off death by keeping the borders between their own organization/components & the rest of the world intact, but it's a constant tiring battle, and it inevitably fails
probably
you cold make some edgy philosophy out of that
i just don't buy it, but there is something elegant about it
and yeah, "tiresome" encapsulates it well

yes
there can be solace in it, especially if you have a decent kitchen & sink & everything
>Yea and i think i would take it differently if i was living in a stand alone house, rather than just a segment along side others. It just doesn't feel mine, even though my part is.
something about doing work while disconnected from the actual meaning/point of the work, i think it makes it harder to work
everyone doing super specialized/specific work & relying on people from all over the world, it's kind of a pitfall of that
it's become harder and harder to get by without being super specialized

i think it's all relative
but if you can find the work fulfilling, then you can raise your standards of living
so you can kinda put yourself on an upward or downward trajectory, depending on whether you're resentful or grateful
it's self-fulfilling almost
maybe

that's a shame
i remember being at walmart like 15 years ago, when i was young
there were always balloons floating up near the ceiling, does anyone remember that?
and the floors were clean, and there were old fashioned gumball machines sometimes
it was often quiet as well

It all makes sense, your body is just a microcosm version of macrocosm, and so on and so forth in both ways it goes as far as i'm concerned.
>>23512435
I guess in that regard, home care or so is the thing that has low and high skill ceiling. You can get by without thinking too much about it, but it sure helps when things are a little bit planned at least. But i think specialization helps in that department too. If one person keeps to one area and other to the other, it all gets easier and faster, obviously, that's the point. That said, i don't think it works that often either.
>>23512442
Well i guess it's easier to do things if you don't think it's pointless to do these things. Like reminding one self how nice it feels when after doing all that tidying up you see the result. Or after cooking you get to enjoy the fruits of that labor. But i don't think grateful goes too far into that, i don't remember when was the last time i thought 'good thing i have drinking water whenever i want' Maybe it's unconscious or maybe it isn't.
>>23512453
Hah, i don't think he is, and no i would find it a rather bad look if i was in such a situation such as i described there.
