when they're beating calcium deposits out of your frozne joints sure, but if you're the "I sit in a shitty chair at work for 8 hours a day and my back hurts" kind of person putting a pillow behind your back will save you trips to get cracked

They work unironically. I go once a month.
I had this spot in my lower back that would always catch me since high school. It doesn’t really bother me anymore.
Scam they fuck your shit up so you come back but the cracking releases dopamine so you think you’re being healed
It’s a scam it’s that simple
People that practice and are patients can equally be fooled into believing it’s legit
So to them you saying this is shitting on their beliefs and they will get angry
Only people I knew that did this weren’t very intelligent and prone to believing woo woo shit

Scam mostly but might make you feel better for a bit.. You will be better off hiring an actual massage therapist if you cannot go to a physical therapist to get a proper assessment and routine.

Works, but there are a lot of scammers trying to set you up for a long treatment when it could be adjusted in a couple of sessions.
I had locked my shoulder overdoing some weekend DIY shit, and after 2 months of not being able to raise my arm, I went to one and walked out of there doing nazi salutes left and right.
If you don't feel 80% better at the first session, don't come back.
