LLMs are a special type of neural network basically
neural networks are more versatile & might have more uses
they're the basis for LLMs but also computer vision
computer vision models have been able to diagnose cancer from medical images that no trained human would ever notice anything in
useful in their place for sure

but these faggots with their startups aren't interested in making the tech useful in its place, or doing hte hard work of finding useful ways to use neural networks
they just want a few million dollars each while the getting's good

that being said, people WILL eventually get around to doing the hard work of making the shit useful, and they'll create/provide more long-term value
