Stop buying shitty jeans. I can tell these are like acid wash and thin with some polyester to add some stretch and be more comfy. These are not real jeans. Real ones are thick and a little uncomfortable until you break them in, but they get comfy fast and last forever.

Yeah, plus shit is poorly stitched. I bought two pairs of pants and they both got holes in the pockets, one has the back packet falling off. Another jacket and the stitching for the pocket came undone. Walmart still has cheap jeans made from real denim, they seem to hold up well. But I'm careful to look them over before buying.

The fabric is paper-thin and the stitching is bad. This is common across all retail brands nowadays. Clothes wear out after a few months and you have to buy new ones. Good old Judeo-Capitalism. You're forced to pay more for thicker, better-constructed clothes from specialty outlets, but in the long run they probably save money since you buy fewer of them.

Honestly this makes a lot of sense. The origin of jeans is pants for workers. By becoming a fashion thing it lost touch with its heritage. And attitude like
>>23583677 enable it.
Meanwhile actual workers will abuse their clothes like crazy and won't accept them breaking too quickly so word will get round what clothes are suitable for that.
Then again maybe looks really are more important than durability for you and you should accept what comes with that tradeoff.

I have been in the manufacturing industry for over 20 years, in various engineering roles. I do engineering consulting now for mechanical, electrical, and industrial. Leading up to Covid years, most companies were playing the "space race" with marketing- unnecessary features, costly designs, and rushed design cycles. They also squeezed the supply chain for the cheapest componentry possible to maximize profits while giving the consumer lipstick on a pig products.
After Covid hit, they struggled to maintain a workforce. Some of my clients are Fortune 1000 companies that have thousands of open reqs they cannot fill. They cannot afford to automate, they cannot remain in business without a workforce, so their only logical move (and one I have been pushing for years) is:
>Reduce offerings
>Eliminate options
>Extend design cycles/iterations
>Flatten their business structure
That's the only viable option they have. My advice to everyone on the consumer side:
>Don't buy ANYTHING modern, new
>It's all unreliable, overpriced trash
>Live minimalist
>Repair what you already own
>Buy less
The market will correct itself in less than 10 years if people stop loading themselves with debt for trash.
