In all seriousness we are right at the cusp of autonomy taking care of all of our needs. It could probably be done this year if there was a serious push for it. Post-scarcity and overabundance mean that everybody should have access to the things they need, simply because it's so simple to produce these things like food or furniture. We already see the beginning where white humans are producing so much that we're able to give away the surplus to many people (food stamps, disability payments, foreign aid etc)

Without any advanced power sources being discovered, there could easily be more robot workers than people within 20 years. Companies will want to replace people with machines because people have rights and need to take shits, even a somewhat expensive robot worker will be feasible for most positions because people are also expensive.

All this being said, don't be a slave if you don't have to. Leave that to the idiots who never ponder any of this shit. In most places there are ways for you to live off the already existing surplus. Society is so close to being carried by technology, I wouldn't worry about it. If you already have a good comfy job and make decent money I wouldn't worry about any of this, but there are people struggling that probably don't have to.
