Anonymous (ID: T3BRCTsE) United States No.23590641 [Report]

I use truck stops and service plazas. I try to rotate between them but if you're staying somewhere for days use the woods.

ah tyty
i've seen a few service plazas off the top of my head which i guess would work
>but if you're staying somewhere for days use the woods.
what sort of woods?
like, off the side of county roads? parks?

Wherever you would go fishing I guess. Parking on the side of a pond or down a trail that leads off a back road. Find something on Google Earth if you have to. State parks are out don't do it. If you have any BLM land near you. Some places forbid camping which this technically is and your shit will get towed so know your laws.

It's a grand Cherokee specifically. Lucky for me I have showers and a gym at work so all that is taken care of otherwise I would probably just get a YMCA or gym membership.

i see
i guess the van itself would protect from wind, but doesn't the ground help insulate in tents or something?
i guess that would make it colder

I have a 10° F sleeping bag and a goose down blanket and I'm using a silk pillow case and it's a twin size. I'm 5'10" and I am fully stretched out and cozy. The only thing that sucks is all the rain recently and no rain guards I can't crack my windows at the moment for air.

ah man
i tried to sit out in a car (which wouldn't start at the time) while it was raining
i thought it would be comfy to read in there, while listening to the rain, and give me space from the rest of the house
but the air got stale & damp so fast...
