She stared at the plate in front of herβsmall, green spheres glistening under the dim kitchen light. The brussels sprouts smelled of punishment, of control, of everything she had tried to escape.
With trembling hands, she lifted one to her lips. The bitterness seeped into her mouth like regret, crawling down her throat as if it knew the weight of what she'd done. He sat across the table, watching. Always watching. His gaze bore into her like an unrelenting storm, waiting for her to swallow.
She forced another bite, the texture turning to paste, clogging her senses. The room seemed smaller now, shrinking as the clock ticked. She chewed slower. She swallowed harder.
And yet, no matter how much she ate, the sprouts never disappeared. The plate refilled endlessly.
She bit her tongue to keep from screaming...

Indian pilots crash a plane made by an American company who have been in the news for several years about declining mechanical safety of their products over the backdrop of being on of the most aggressive proponents of affirmative action hiring practices. This in conjunction with several whistleblowers calling foul about why Boeing's jets seem to be falling out of the sky with alarming frequency.

Pretty underwhelming returns for like 20 concurrent technological revolutions especially considering they had to gut tech wagie pay and outsource everything to the turd world at the tail end of it all. There is absolutely zero upside left for another decade at the very least

>Trump Expands 50% tariffs to appliances starting June 23
New duties hit fridges, washers, ovens, and more, targeting steel content in imported goods.
>Trump is expanding steel tariffs to cover a wider range of imported household appliances starting June 23, according to a notice posted Thursday. The new levies will apply to βsteel derivative products,β which now include items like dishwashers, washing machines, refrigerators, and more.
>The tariffsβcurrently set at 50% for most countriesβwere first introduced at 25% in March and later doubled. This marks the second time the list of affected products has been broadened. In the first expansion, nearly 300 categories were added, ranging from horseshoes to bulldozer blades.
>This latest move adds eight new product lines, including combined refrigerator-freezers, dryers, dishwashers, freezers, ovens and stoves, garbage disposals, and welded wire racks. According to the Federal Register, the tariff will be calculated based on the steel content in each product.

Has there really been 20? Most of the "revolutions" in the past 20 years haven't even been good, like social media. Only major tech advancement I can think of is mobile devices and maybe electric cars, but that's not much of a revolution. Crypto is another net negative.
