You need to learn how to pick the right fucking stock. A mediocre trader can make more money on the right stock that a great trader can make trying to apply sophisticated strategies to the wrong stock. On any given day, 99% of the market is the wrong stock and at most there are a small handful and sometimes only a single right stock. Everybody's a genius in a bull market. The obvious corollary is everybody's a genius when they jump on the right stock

You should never sell deep itm puts unless it's part of a vertical spread. You are basically signing to buy a stock at a higher price than what it's currently trading. Even if you are extremely bullish about the stock, you should sell otm puts (30- 50 delta). If you want to get assigned no matter what, then sell a slightly otm put beginning of the week, milk premium and then roll on Friday at a slight otm put, or just close the put and buy it outright.

Depends on the direction you want to play. With puts, you can do a bull put or a bear put spread. (You can do it with calls too).
