Top 1% only needs like 360oz. If credit collapses and moves into commodities, the valuable, physical commodities will capture MOST of the pent up demand. Gold will have to revalue to balance everything and those moves will be breathtaking. It will only be enjoyed by those who own physical silver. Credit assets will collapse as everyone scrambles to trade credit for capital.

4000 ounces of silver will get you about 5 years worth on food in 2032, so not really a make it stack

Silver is deprecating against the McChicken at a rapid rate, by 2032 an ounce will only buy 2 McChickens. Assuming you can live off 4 McChicken per day that's enough for 5 years.

But...you will be homeless and robbed on the first night....good luck stacky

No point in speculating, as the pre-credit crunch valuations will always be skewed until the bond market starts to cause problems.
There is certainly money to be made before this event happens so there are trades you can make. But when that door finally slams shut, anything you have invested in credit assets will suffer massive losses against gold which will be revalued.
I think being right at the correct time is far more important than chasing yield, although I do keep much of my capital in GME which is a capital asset given that it is systemic naked sold short. Someone could give me BTC and I would sell it immediately.

I doubt it. Resource scarcity is going to be the premier theme of the next big crash. Thinking you can create some sort of sidelined "credit sponge" to soak up liquidity to dampen hyperinflation is just not going to work.
Even if BTC rises initially, I think capital will flow to quality and the liquidity is simply not going to exist to maintain these high prices. People will be selling BTC for gold and blue chips and housing. I don't think they will find buyers. Or the buyers who are there won't even come close to having the purchasing power to justify million dollar prices etc.
Also, imagine a graph of the utility of BTC. What if we created BTC2. And BTC3 and 4. If one of them is some sort of panacea why not create more? Why not swap dollars for BTC in a 1:1 fashion? Would that actually solve the underlying economic issues the financial has created for the real-world economy? I don't think so. The worse the resource-shortages become, the higher quality asset you will need to survive. We already know what the life-raft will be for banks, and that is basically all you need to know about how to survive. Value in your OWN POSSESSION is how you will avoid the collapse in the purchasing power of credit.

Gold will go up as long as governments continue to dilute the value of paper currency. Bubbles are the result of credit money expansion. Nobody buys gold on credit like they do stock and houses. It glows hot because the combustion of the alcohol is exothermic. The combustion of the alcohol is initiated at room temperature because the platinum acts as a catalyst. By taking the card offer, you better be able to pay that off no matter what happens in that timeframe. Unexpected expenses can ruin your repayment plan and fuck you over with interest.

Devaluing the value of cash is going to be Zimbabwe style inflation which is not the same as extending credit. so ive been following these threads since i started them a few years ago and i can confidently say the majority of you guys have no idea that precious metals are a savings vehicle not an investment. at least half of you idiots think you are going to get rich holding metals. so if i can give you some advice its to save your money in precious metals and the money you want to invest (gamble) to make more money with you should put it into the stock market or a business or land. you wont generate anywhere near the returns you think you will with some silver coins. will you beat inflation with a small bonus? sure you might 1.3x your money, maybe 2x if you are lucky and patient but that means you have to sell to realize the gain which is a one and done move for profit. but a business, rental property, will generate passive cash flow which repeats itself every month. just some free life advice for a lot of you children.

I believe you are fundamentally wrong about it only being a saving vehicle.
Back in 2000 the silver demand from industries was 190Moz.
In 2024 it was 680Moz. Out of 800Moz mined (just like in 2000 btw).

Just forget about the monetary metal side, there is a structural deficit of silver who is beyond anything we've known ever before. Simply because it never happened before.
I know you developped this rhetoric as a cope/defense mechanism from feeling let down so many times by perma bulltards on jewtube and the like. And i understand you brother, the 2.5x we got since 2019 isn't what we hoped for, but you got to believe it, it's coming. There isn't any other way around it.
And once it will be there we will do a x10 and nobody will even care about the monetary value. I promise you it's coming.

no you still arent getting it. if you want to speculate on silver specifically for whatever reason you have then the actual physical metal is a waste of your time. if you think you will get a 10x basd on commodity demand, then what do you think the companies that mine and produce it will do? i have long date call options i bought earlier in the spring on silver miners which have given me 500 and 800% gains so far. what has silver done since april, gone up 2 dollars an ounce? you arent understanding the difference between investment and savings.

now as far as why you think silver will perform so well thats a separate issue to the point i was trying to make but also keep in mind the last 2 decades have seen silver get boosted artificially by billions in green scam subsidies. you havent seen tht reflected in the current demand and market yet. thats come to an end the US is pivoting back to fossil fuel and soon nuclear because spending insane amounts of money on stupid inefficient stuff like solar panels is no longer commercially viable to power the grid. there will definitely be demand for silver specifically in electronics but dont ignore the fact 1/4th o annual silver proudction is spent on solar panels which will no longer be commercially viable without the subsidies.

no you dont get it. if i want to invest i can make far better returns with far less risk elsewhere. even if i wanted to invest in the silver metal iitself i already explained how owning shares in the mining and royalty companies is a much better investment. your hundred ounces of silver will not even come close to matching the shares of the companies that own those mines and on top of that you will get quarterly dividends. which i already explained that the phsyical metal you can only profit once from. with shares in the company that owns the metal. you arent getting dividends and stock buybacks. if silver hits $500/oz what do you think is goign to happen to the $8 million market cap mining company that owns millions of ounces on its property?

Everyone should read "A Random Walk Down Wallstreet", which is a boomer investing book to get a sobering look at what investing looks like with real interest rates. I want to warn everyone born in the 1990s who may not fully understand the dire and drastic changes that occurred in 2008. The fed literally had to ruin their balance sheet to keep the banks alive, and we've been a death spiral ever since. The young, financially illiterate, and uninitiated are all splashing around in a sewer runoff not knowing a flash flood is coming. The easy money sloshing around is going to rugpull everyone. Governments, tax revenues, businesses, income statements, banks, investments. It's all shit and the bond market is the lifeblood of it all. And those bonds to be good, every American needs to fork over $250,000+. It would be like needing to confiscate via the entire housing market. Imagine the fallout that would cause.
I think it will be true, that there will be all kinds of people owning mining stocks that get nationalized right out from under them. There will also be people owning profitable derivatives that have no solvent counterparty to pay them.

Sounds too stressful for me, I'm inheriting 60 acres, so I don't feel the need to take risks like that on real estate, especially with the direction the market's headed right now. Sounds like you bought and sold at just the right time. I actually did something similar a few years ago and made around 30k, but I paid cash for the property and improvements, so I never got a mortgage. I'm not rich or anything either, so it's not like taking loans is your only option if you're poor. There's always other options out there.

Just a warning to new PMG lurkers. Back in 2021-2022 a group of pump and dumpers came in here hard memeing silver stocks. They still get defensive about it and they will likely try to do something again. If a mining stock has already moved and it is being hyped here of all places, chances are the opportunity is already gone.
If you don't know what you are doing but want mining exposure, stick to the majors or something like SILJ which is an ETF managed by Sprott.

sure, note im shameless using ai for this and will only do one post on LINK cause this isnt the place but also if it achieves its goal which is seemingly likely it will be the best preforming asset over the next decade or two. forgive the gayness but i dont want to spend too much time on this, and this is pretty good

blockchains are dumb
they can’t talk to the outside world
no price feeds, no real data, no real use
enter Chainlink

feeds smart contracts real-world data
asset prices, interest rates, weather, everything
without LINK, contracts are blind

then CCIP drops
“Cross-Chain SWIFT”
lets blockchains and banks talk to each other
DTCC, SWIFT, BNY already playing with it

tokenization meta kicks in
gold, silver, real estate, bonds all go on-chain
they need price feeds, messaging, settlement
guess who does that? LINK.

LINK gets used to pay nodes, secure data, stake for trust
usage = LINK demand
LINK demand = LINK go up

not DeFi
not a meme
this is the plumbing of the new financial system

owning LINK = early equity in Bloomberg + SWIFT + Moody’s
but for crypto
but decentralized
but global

they’re building the new world
and LINK is the wires behind the walls

wow link fudders in PMG, crazy
i made it clear that i didnt want to shill LINK here, anyone who doesn't comprhend whats going to happen wont be comfortable holding and shouldnt put their money in it
but the DTCC, swift, Hong Kong Monetary Authority (china), treasury (through the recent GENIUS bill), ANZ + HSBC clearing project, along with the fact that chainlink owns all of DeFi backbone make it a great buy.
considering we mine 1 billion oz of silver annually and there are only 1 billion chainlink ever and LINK is less than half the price of an oz of silver, i think i will go with chainlink at these prices, especially as chainlink will eventually offer passive yield (likely 1-3 % safely) on an asset that will appreciate.
unheard of. i hope some in PMG consider throwing 10-25% of what they would into physical into LINK and putting it in storage.

it mentions the DTCC which is the actual owner of almost equuities in the world
they are switching to chainlink as the interop solution
DTCC will tokenize things on their own blockchains (so no way for the average joe to profit on that portion of operations)
any time DTCC needs to operate on a blockchain outside of their control (maybe even inside their control depending on future regulation) they will use chainlink.
CCP will use chainlink for their tokenized commoditiy exchanges
we are talking a global opportunity on the scale never before seen.

The uninitiated will easily fall for BTC and the talking points that surround it. Especially the younger generations who are not personally familiar with investing and trading prior to 2008 ZIRP. I could anticipate a moment in time when BTC will capture some more capital inflows in the confusion, but those already owning BTC will be collapsing against the move that PMs make. The capital outflows from BTC will be panic driven and a 80-90% loss for anyone buying over $100,000 is almost a guarantee. The imploding normalcy bias will snap necks and carry most people away in financial body bags. I think the Gold:BTC ratio will be one of the most absurd things of all time in hindsight. If you caught the bullrun in BTC the smartest thing you could do would be to lock those gains away as wealth outside of the banking system. Scarcity alone is not enough to support those prices and a resource-shortage caused by a sovereign debt crisis will create a flight to quality. Stocks and bonds won't do you much good when the globe has been consuming 100+% of its production for the last four decades. Made only possible with the creation of IOUs.

Oh the sweet, sweet irony of keyboard warriors imagining they're fighting, or traders imagining they are "working!"
ROFL! the fundamental, definitional hypocrisies of this line of narrative crafting.
You know what works, fren? Not (you) as simple as. I highly doubt you have ever accomplished anything of significance with your own two hands in your entire existence that the jannies haven't had to clean up. Probably have little to no knowledge or understanding of what it requires to lift or support something tangible or physical in a consistent manner. Go touch grass today, fren, please.

I think reading the book "A Random Walk Down Wallstreet" is one of the most sobering books out there. It throws a wet towel on the idea of day trading and picking stocks back in the 1970s and how even professional hedge fund managers often rarely beat the market indexes. The book never made a whole lot of sense to me because I read it in 2009 as we were now in a zero-interest rate environment just to stave off financial calamity. Excess liquidity sloshing around in lieu or real cash savings and interest rates is a fun time to trade and speculate. But 100% of that liquidity is going to get ripped out from under us all. All debts are repaid, and a catastrophic reversion to the mean is looming dead ahead. All of the gains in the stock market will be given back. All of the gains in housing will be given back. You are paying real cash and time and effort today to afford all of these things but the value won't be maintained. Many people's entire lives they have toiled endlessly for credit assets and they'll feel the rugpull more than anyone. We gave away our industrial base and we promoted speculation over savings. Now the bill is due and as a country we'll probably have to rebuild our savings using minimum wage jobs at these corporations until ample capital investments can be made within the U.S. to get people gainfully employed again. You can only build a service economy selling snacks and craft beer to one another for so long until our beneficiaries (China & others who exported to us for Treasuries) start to demand higher quality payment. What will we fill all of these big box stores with if we can't afford $700BN trade deficits every year? All of that value is leveraged into jobs, taxes, and velocity of money. You lose the power to inflate the currency if there is nothing to buy. I'm fortunate enough to be young enough to make the trade of a lifetime. Bittersweet though because it's not going to be fun.

There's currently one on eBay for £400, but it'll never sell. I bought the full set of V1 last year for $1,100 (+$300 shipping and import duties). You could probably get $100-$150 for it, but the number of people who would be willing to buy it aren't high.

You can make money on numismatics, just like you can make money selling frog rounds or mining stocks but the silver scammers never suggest you do those things, in fact they say you shouldn't do them. why is that?

Because the goal of the silver scambots and the demons who hire them is to ruin your life , make you broke, scared and hiding in mommy's basement praying for the world to collapse. And that's exactly what will happen if you buy fake physical silver, be it rounds, bars or junk.

np sorry it's not helpful.

if you live near public land you can probably find abandoned gold mines where you can legally pick up gold ore. But most of the really good gold is on private property. Sometimes you can find a private gold mine located close enough to a public road that you can collect ore from the public easement. There's a lot of that where I live. They built the roads right under the mine dumps for easy loading of ore. So a lot of the ore ended up in the road where you can collect it

They want us to buy into their stock/crypto ponzi schemes

They don't want us to have wealth outside digital control
