they say that money does not buy happiness (as a psyop to keep the wagies down of course)

but the more money I get the happier I have been

does it ever stop or top off at a point? maybe. I have not reached that point

money = dopamine = happiness

fuck commies and retards saying it won't

Most people get infinitely happier the more money they get, but a large minority of people only get happy up to a certain point. Also apparently relationships really do matter more than money for happiness. Like you can be poor and happy and rich and sad, and relationships is generally why outside of acts of God.

made a lot of money in the early days of google search ads, ranking optimization, etc., then lost almost all of it gambling on shitcoins and was legit broke for like 5 years. started an ecommerce business at just the right time, and it was a grind, hardest job i ever had was running my own business, but somehow it worked. lasted about 5 years, and i was able to DCA bitcoin into multi-7 figures.

i got the house, the pool, the car, the girl, the kids. i still have my health and i’m not even 40. average height, weight, pass for white or hispanic depending on context. speak 3 languages fluently, 2 with native accents. traveled, read all the books, learned all the red pills, went through all the self-optimization phases, even tried carnivore.

i am telling you. for a fact. there is nothing in this world outside of you that can satisfy you, and there’s nothing truly valuable money can buy.

your health is your wealth, and your relationships are your currency.

this is what i learned, anon, after being a retard online for 30 years since i was 8.

your brain is literally a organ designed to filter signal from noise. you can get rid of tinnitus by mediation and focusing on it until it starts to dissipate.

before you go to sleep every night darken your room, make it cold and silent. get under your sheets and just listen to the tinnitus. it will be hella uncomfortable and feel like torture and madness at first but dont freak out. just breath and listen to the tone, try to listen to the pure note ringing if you have that type of tinnitus if you have more of a whooshing wavy sound just imagine your at the beach listening to the ocean.

keep doing this until your in more and more of a meditative trance. try 1 minute. then 2min, and keep going every night until you are doing it for 20-30 minutes. you will find that very quickly as the meditation time increases as your ability to meditate increases your tinnitus will decrease.

Your ignores signal from noise. However a signal that is always on IS noise. this why you don't see your nose in your field of vision or why you can't feel your clothes on your skin unless you focus on it.

This technique will allow your brain to perceive the tinnitus as constant and present signal which will then make your brain ignore it. With practice your brain eventually learns that the tinnitus is to be ignored all the time unless YOU focus on it.

god bless. weird that you posted about this here and i had the same issue.

early 30s, multi millionaire, married, agree100%.

>does it ever stop or top off at a point? maybe.

when you can double or triple median you no longer get a big return on happiness. Going from 30k a year to 90k absolutely impacts happiness. greatly. removes stress. from 90k to 190k maybe it helps, you can save more, build an emergency fund, maybe buy a house. from 190 to 290 your life doesn't change, it's just shiny trinkets, it becomes the hedonic treadmill, oh well i can buy a new car every 3 years but it's not a lambo or whatever stupid shit, id be happier with more money! turns out the impact on someone's happiness between a new honda and a new lambo is the opposite of what you'd think, the honda makes people happier over the long term.

spend some time learning about happiness, one of the better things you can understand. People think money would magically cure all their faults, that's not how it works. if you're a miserable fuck at NW 0 you're going to be a miserable fuck at NW 10m. fixing that has nothing to do with money in any way.

I became a millionaire in my 20s and think I became MORE unhappy. You think all your problems will resolve once you get what you want, but nothing changes. In some cases it gets worse since you realize the thing you wanted wasn't a panacea to your problems.

You literally cannot understand if you're a poorfag. It's like virgins thinking a gf would fix their life despite normalfags telling them otherwise.

I appreciate your post anon, some good points within it, however, tinnitus has ruined my ability to produce/make and listen to music which was my lifeblood. I am suffering deeply. My tinnitus is noise induced so there's no road back to making music without risk of further damage.

It's actually frequency induced. There are hearing aids for this. You can continue to produce. You'll just have to use spectrum analyzer plugins to reduce known "bad" (subjective) frequencies in your mixes since you probably won't be able to pick them up wearing a filtering hearing aid.

Money absolutely buys happiness. Anything that you could possibly want in life is aided, not hindered by money. Even things people pretend can't be bought, just because you won't find em on a store shelf.

To say otherwise is just copium from poors and feigned humility from richfags.

yeah like when they say you can't buy love. maybe not directly, but you can buy nice clothes, a nice haircut, healthy food, a car, a home, go to places and do stuff and so on. this world is so money centered that you're pretty fucked if you don't have enough of it as everyone has a certain level of unspoken expectations you need to meet

Don’t know. But I think it the relationship between money and happiness turns logarithmic instead of linear quite fast after 1M. I would be happy as a clam to have a paid off home, cars that won’t break down and being able to eat healthy food and work part time at a job that I do not hate.

I am being serious but you also have to understand what I am saying. Regardless of money, rich or poor, the majority of men are losers and will only get to marry a girl because she picked him to be the beta provider. I think in the back of their minds, most men know this and feel bad. Like imagine no girls liking u for the girst 20 years of your life and ONLY when u have $$, do girls give you attention. I think by age 17, most men know if they “have it” or not.

If you don't live in the US, you can fuck prostitutes who are real college students that are actually attractive. In Japan where competition is high, these girls will let you do anything, anal, bareback, you name it.
