Is it too late to buy Idaho real estate or will it keep going higher? Where is the best place to buy real estate in the US?

For the Pacific Northwest, the white demographics are surprisingly low.

Personally I'm a house Uber bull but I think we are in the beginning stages of a nationwide correction. The high flyers like Texas and Florida have already had a pull back and it's spreading to other areas. Rates and prices are both simply too high

I moved to Idaho a few years ago. Nearly every metric used to calculate individual prosperity is substantially better than where I came from. I encourage more people to come, as I am a welcoming person, and lay no claim aside from the land I own, and believe more people will help the state prosper.

Where the best place is to buy a house to live in depends a lot on your job, income level, personal preferences for weather

As far as what market would give the best returns, that is hard to predict. Like other posters said prices and rates are very high right now. All the places that would have been the answer to that question already pumped to levels that are already precarious. That leaves locales that did not gigapump over the past 5 years, and those places are probably not good investments or they would have pumped too.

If you just want to live in a place that has a lot of white people and is inexpensive look in northern New England
