I knew a man who won 2 times back and back hundreds of thousands. His secret was literally X schizo tier shit. But it worked. The first time I tried it out I won 500 bucks. There is a phenomenon called "First time luck" I went to a casino, put in $5 into the gamba, won 200 and left. Then I went to the next, did the same, won $600, left instantly. As a finance professional, you really shouldn't play until the jackpot is high enough that the EV is equal to the price of the ticket once you factor in lump sum and taxes. I believe for the powerball it's close to 2b.
