>>60531689And you have proof you turned $100 into $100k? Surely you must be able to because of the transparent nature of Bitcoin.
They don't want us stacking silver because ideally they want our savings/pent up purchasing power financing the system and not actually drawing-down real-world resources. The history of money is most easily summed up by the wealthy wanting to restrict the amount of money available to the peasant classes in order to promote loans. They don't want valuable coinage changing hands because they would rather keep it all in a vault and then give loans against it. Other successful fiat currencies have been used before when PMs are not available such as Colonial Scrip (whose abolition was the primary cause of the revolutionary war and NOT taxes). The Nazis actually used a labor backed currency which was backing up the purchasing power of the money with labor which was incredibly useful. (although inflationary at the end of the war as they were being destroyed by the banking cartel).
This documentary is probably one of the greatest things ever. Watch this and read the history of central banking as that highlights the J-angle to central banking that Bill Still missed out on.

I like stacking precious metals.
That's all I have to add at this time.
>>60531696>dude, trust me
how easy is it to setup a gold/silver shop? How much capital do i need and is it profitable?
>>60531776brick and mortar store fronts aren't usually profitable in the short term. They're real estate plays. You but real estate with a mortgage. The gold/silver shop hopefully pays the mortgage, utilities, taxes, insurance, and maybe a salary for you.
then at the end 20 years you sell the real estate and maybe the business also.
so you need whatever capital is required to buy or rent a place, plus tens of thousands to set up the shop, and maybe a hundred thousand or so to buy up inventory.
it's probably not profitable unless you live somewhere with a ton of drugs, crime, and poverty.
>>60531696>proof?>PROOF???>PROOOOOOOOOOOOOOF that Bitcoin gained +100000% in price???!?!?!?kek, if only Bitcoin prices, same as shiny rocks, would be readily available public knowledge.

>>60531859>PROOOOOOOOOOOOOOF that Bitcoin gained +100000% in price???!?!?!?Prove you own any bitcoin. If I bought it now it's not going to do another 100000x
It won't. Those days are over. The only reason anyone would want someone else to get into crypto these days is for additional exit liquidity.
Proof that it's a ponzi scheme. You need more bagholders to keep it propped up. Silver is an industrial metal. There's a several year deficiency and it's only getting worse.
If I want to buy something that will guaranteed go up in value, it's silver. Not glorified excel spreadsheet casino code.
>>60531859Key words to memorize; bitcoin, silver, gold, miners, my little pony. Did you know that silver is bitcoin? Did you know that my little pony is bitcoin? Did you know that gold is silver? I like silver but it's just a terrible investment. And it's shilled here as a psyop to spiritually and financially castrate young white men.
If you like silver find a way to sell it, make frog rounds , rings from coins or spoons etc all kinds of things you could make. Look at what gauchos made in argentina with basic tools living in a hut. My good fren Minty made $100,000 profit and hes terrible at marketing, logistics and organization. it would be a great hobby if nothing else and unlike these threads it won't delete your IQ and sap your spirit.

>>60531932Nice text wall.
>>60531776>how easy is it to setup a gold/silver shop? Most likely absolutely nightmarish. You got a combo of countless legislations around PMs + legislations on historic artifacts + legislations on legal tender (demonetized or not). Then you are shuffling around a LOT of liquid cash, so the IRS will be on your back all the time. On top of that the banks (and by definition, the government) hates & fear you, so they will investigate + debank you at any occasion they get.
Plus the constant risk of getting robbed by criminals. Plus your buybacks coming from home breakings and thefts who will be seized by the cops as evidences (good luck getting anything back).
On top of being a brick and mortar business, which are dying beasts and getting taxed like hell both locally & federally (and it will only get worse).
And above all, how much cash do you have ready for that? Since banks hate you they wont loan easily. And after all the costs tied to the shop and it's maintenance, you have to buy a stock. You must have anything from dimes to 10kg bars. In both gold & silver + all the collectibles (where you will make the money). Imho you need at least half a million to get started and last a year with no salary, once you add all the costs, 500K probably is on the low end of LCS.
>>60531776>>60532006>the IRS will be on your back all the timeI'd rather open a gun shop and deal with the ATF than the IRS.

>>60532889>as a starter emergency fund?Right now fiat is an emergency fund. PMs are at least a long term savings account with self custody. Or depending on price discovery, the best investment of the 21st century.
>>60533005Silver is a terrible and risky investment not only are long term returns only half a percent but it historically goes down in value for 20 or more years. It's currently is down 70% inflation adjusted from 45 years ago
>>60533054>It's currently is down 70% inflation adjusted from 45 years agoWhat does this cherry-picking prove? What makes you think silver could be much cheaper than it is? The Hunt brothers started buying under $2/oz. Two dollars in 1970 adjusts to $17. Imagine how cheap it was to mine. Consider how few people were stacking. Itโs a different market now.
>>60533054silver and gold are what's known as inflation resistant assets. The fact that silver is aggressively price suppressed is a seperate debate entirely. but comparing a lack of high returns to a currency that it becoming wildly inflated is a comparison made in bad faith, or out of ignorance.
it was never SUPPOSED to be an "investment" but its not the stacking community's fault that there would be a massive profit from an industry wide "correction".
Calling it a low yielding "investment" just kinda proves the stackers point for us while eroding any footing you have youself.
>>60533072>What does this cherry-picking prove? WhatIt's a fact, just like it's a fact that gold is the same price now, inflation adjusted, that it was 45 years ago. Do you hate yourself? Doesn't make sense now, does it? Haven't you realized that it's all about proximity to the money printing? That isn't government, that's gibberment. There's a very old saying, "He who has the gold makes the rules." Chooing to perceive capitalism from only the side if competing through the lens of instruments of exchange which by the way are defined as "Not Money", instead of choosing the side of capitalism based in community and "we the people", in whom and which the value really exists is your issue, it's an iss-(you) not an iss-me. Providing opertunities for others is why capitalism continues to work, and thank God There's plenty of people like (you) to sacrifice yourselves on it's altar to fuel it for the rest of us.
Seriously, bro, we're not your enemy. That's your decision. You're the only one projecting vitriol and hate here. You choose for yourself, me personally I can care less about the image upon the metals God didn't create that, we did and we're not God.
Some people are conscripted into companies and ships by birth. Me? It was the good old USA, I didn't get to choose where I was born, but I am sure as hell not going to drill holes in the boat I was born into. 25%, 75% 100% markup in instrument perceived values means nothing to me, these instruments aren't the tools of my enslavement they are designed for individuals like you.

Silver miners produce 2 times as much silver as industry consumes. That leads to an additional 5 billion ounce glut every decade. The price of silver will never go up
>>60538704What would happen if inflationary concerns has investors adjust their portfolios from 1%PMs to 2-3%? Even a minor adjustment like that would instantly consume ALL newly mined silver per year.

>>60538722What would happen if disinflationary concerns has investors adjust their portfolios from 1%PMs to 0%? Even a minor adjustment like that would instantly flood the market with 10s of billions of ounces of silver
>>60538825Not an ahhgument.
You see, the success of credit based investments works really well right up until the economy is now saturated with interest accruing debts. It was the correct move to chase after yield for decades. It will not be the correct move to sell credit assets for real, physical capital investments. Debts that can't be paid, won't be paid.
So as the banks start the dollar-dilutions that will lead to the fiat-fallout, people will be putting more of their wealth into physical assets such as money metals. If the historically low 1%PM allocations revert to the historical average of 4% then 100%+ of yearly metals would get bought up. Retail will be fighting with industry for their share and the only way to shake out investment demand will be higher prices.
The truth here, is that the dollar has been ruined because the Fed has already sabotaged its balance sheet back in 2008. This is a downward spiral because at no point will the banks and government actually be able to deleverage. We are in full blown-funny money until complete lack of confidence arises.
The scary thing is we are talking about 1-5% of the globes portfolio in precious metals. What if we start talking 20-50%? As we all know, there is not enough metal above ground to accommodate that level of demand. Haves and have-nots will be decided along these lines.
>>60538925Why does silver and gold go down in real terms during disinflationary times like happened from 1980 -2010?
Whats the inflation rate from 1980-2010 yet gold and silver still lost value. Explain that

>>60538962We were far more financially stable and the act of taking on leverage increases the stock market, which is why it is such an insidious monetary practice. The reason gold and silver were dropping in price is due to the opportunity cost of the easy money sloshing around. With interest rates going on a 3 decade decline and all asset prices increasing, people were making cheap and easy money everywhere. Those trends can not continue forever though. Deficit spending is a lot of fun with a new credit card, and not so fun when you are maxed out and desperate for the bank to up your limit every few months. Now that the economy is saturated with debt and we HAVE to deficit spend 9% of our GDP just to have 1-2% growth means the system is running out of steam. It's not a complicated situation to understand, and the only thing people need to wrap their heads around is the lifecycle of these economic systems being multigenerational. Not even the oldest boomers have intimate knowledge of the great depression. This makes the tax-cattle easy victims to through away all of their time, effort, and purchasing power away on consumption, and investing in nothing but credit assets.

>>60539052Ice cold take here.
The monetary system has to be erroded for us to kick the can. They system is not stable and any stability you experience comes at the cost of making things worse in the long run. The banking system had to ruin the Fed's balance sheet in 2008 and it has never been fixed. Deficit spending continues to rise. We have confidence crisis in the dollar on the international stage which we need to finance the $700BN trade deficit. Everywhere you look the issues lie solely in the dollar system.
I haven't even heard a single honest counterargument to my thesis yet. And I go out of my way to invite a discussion.

but it produced a shitload of speculation, and lost of people that missed out on $40 instead bought at $12 or $9 and then went on to lose their ass in the following years.
>>60539583>>60539583What price did you buy at in the 1980s?
>>60539622I bought at lots of prices. Technically I started "buying" in the 1960's by collecting silver coins from circulation. I suppose by that standard I was paying $1.40 per ounce for most of the 60's and 70's.
My biggest straight bullion buys were in the $9 per ounce range, most of which I sold at a loss. Some of it I saved until 2011 and sold at a nice gain. I no longer have any though. I'd guess I have maybe an ounce of silver bullion outside of my coin collection which is several pounds
>>60539602The price increase due to the Hunts lasted about a year. Lasted long enough for Tiffany's to post an op-ed complaining about the high silver prices. But you miss the point I am trying to make. The reason silver pumped that high is due to the Hunts entering the market and that brown third world piece of shit conveniently left that out when stating that silver went from $60 down to $3.50. Important context to include wouldn't you say?
Anyway, anyone who wants to read about the Hunts can do so below. Interesting story.

And I actually own a silver piece minted by the SF mint from the US' strategic silver reserve in response to the Hunts buying up all the silver they did.

>>60539649>The price increase due to the Hunts lasted about a year.depends how you measure it

$50 silver lasted minutes.
>>60539654>If silver can fall from $50. to $3 certainly it can fall 50% from today's price, how is that even controversial?I said it was possible. It's done it a couple times in the past.
I just doubt it because inflation has apparently made $20 or maybe $30 the new floor
>>60539654You are mentally retarded aren't you? The price of silver went to $50 because 3 billionaire brothers started buying massive amounts of silver very quickly causing the price to skyrocket. The COMEX and CBOT then changed the rules which forced the Hunts to face margin calls that they couldn't meet. They then had to liquidate their positions just as fast causing the price to plummet back down. This is not what is happening now. What don't you understand?
>>60539649Excuses excuses you keep letting your low IQ racism cloud your mind, the price fell several times in the 80s by 70% as it did after 2011 and many other times fell 50% but this time is different right?...lmao you are in a cult, not MY problem it's YOUR losses
>>60539661I won't argue with you there. You clearly have been around longer than I have and are knowledgeable. >>60539668No inflation from 1980 to 2020?

What do you think the floor on silver will be this week? 34/oz?
>>60541135You have to make peace with this simple fact : there is no coming back from $35. This was a historic breaking point, it was the threshold literally all commodity traders from major institutions desperatly tried to suppress, then delay, for as long as possible.
You probably got a giant poster in the commodity desk of JPMorgan reading
>$35 FORBIDDEN YOU SCHMUCKSChinks had to push spot near $40 on the SGHE just to force Wall streets to accept the new reality.
I don't see a world where we ever go below $35, beside maybe like few flash crashes with AI snowballing their shorting algos but who recover within minutes/hours.
Just can't happen with such a huge deficit. How is it rn? 36.2? We will see $40 by early August, with nearly no retreat. Just a slow, inevitable crabbing upward.
>>60541039>a fun endeavor but it would certainly cost more than $1.6k in time and materialI happen to have the time and material already bought and paid for. I don't really want to sacrifice the gold, but I might after I make a couple other items I've been dreaming of.
I had a dream probably 30 years ago about a little gold dragon that looked like a viper with wings and legs and arms. That's probably the first thing I'd sculpt. It's on my bucket list to make. A bell might be a fun follow up. I'd also like some modern change cast in pure gold just for novelty. I used to cast fake coins out of solder and I think gold would be a more amusing trinket. Just a handful of pocket change cast out of pure gold.
>>60541135I mean, look at the yearly, it says the whole story right there : invariable higher highs + higher lows tested every quarter like clockwork.
A chart who perfectly match a double cup & handle both decades in the making + still withing range of the normal silver to gold bullrun lag w/ slingshot.
Even if a trader wanted to draw the most perfect hypothetical bullporn chart ever, it couldn't be better looking than the silver one rn. It's that perfect.
>>60541166There's a 500 million ounce glut of silver annually, over 1.3 million ounces per day have to be shilled and sold to naive "investors ". That's why silver scammers lie about shortages, credit crunches and a dozen other stupid reasons it will go up
>>60541180FUD, Greed and FOMO. That's all you silver scammers have. The fundamentals of silver are terrible

>>60541180Even if a retrace were to occur, it wouldn't go below $32.5/$33 before bouncing back. So max downward delta is about -10%, with next higher leg around $39/40 by approx. Sept.
Silver and gold is crashing the same reason bitcoin is mooning. Peace is in the air, lmao they didn't live thru the 30 year crash from 1980 to 2010 so they have no idea the pain that's coming. I will teach them!
>peace is in the air
It sure is, IQ
>>60541235Has there ever been a US mint set that was a good investment? Serious question because when i looked at ones bought in 2000 the returns were negative . Anyway it's always shocking when you government haters buy their products,,,,fascinating
>>60541253Who cares? I like my reverse Peace/Morgan sets. Selling them is something my grandchildren can deal with if they need a few bucks. My "investments" are my cheapies.
>>60541259>Who caresLmao, you do. You can pretend you don't but you posted a picture for a reason you are proud of them. Proud because you think it's a good investment. It's a scam and you fell for it. Put it on your mantle as a reminder you won't do it again. Oh and you burdened your heirs with how to dispose of it, not nice
>>60541264IQ, we also post about our interests on other boards you know. I've got a Pokemon card worth more than the cardboard box you live in. I own guns that are worth enough to pay for your dental work. Maybe I just enjoy things and you have some trash to pick up, don't you?
>>60541275Ahh you are back to lashing out with your low iq racism and insults because i pointed out you made a bad investment. Sad but fascinating what the ego does to protect itself but there's an important lesson in this about investing don't become emotionally attached. Learn it or lose
>still pooping in toilets
A concept absolutely bereaved of our good friends who clean up our trash and shitpost on the side for 10 cents an hour, or possibly for free.
>>60540356You're welcome! I love that piece since it has that bit of silver history attached to it.
>>60541291>muh racism cry about it some more. the way you cry every time you look in the mirror and remember you are a brown bastard rejected by your own father, whom you never knew. so you come here seeking attention from us to cope. yes, the ego is a fascinating thing indeed.
>>60539649finally, someone talking about historic examples. gj anon. the pajeet crying in every thread doesn't want people to realize that all the hunt brothers even did was buy market silver at the market rate. they were then branded criminals and the jews restored the price suppression.
The simple fact is its that rare, and that critical. Enough to go around, but still scarce as fuck to pretend $30 an ounce is "fair". Try to load up a truck at that price however, and you become a threat to the status quo
>>60541567Pmg still can't explain why they buy an investment they claim is suppressed by all powerful people
go to sleep, nigger. stop crying over shiniesโฆ
>>60541573its been explained many times, retard, your just too stupid to read and form valid arguments
>>60533042Jesus was a kike
>>60541769he sure was, and this is one of my favorite depictions of him, you know when he whipped the shit out of the money changers in the temple for using religion as as excuse to scam people?
know what I love most about that story? he didn't just see the evil kikes in action and fly off the handle, he left to meditate on his rage while he hand crafted a flail for the express purpose of expelling those filthy kikes, and then followed through.
>>60541769Your temple is destroyed and your religion invalid
>>60541039What you hear from coins is pretty much all there is to hear. Bells focus harmonic distortion from materials which resonate at higher frequencies. Notice nobody finds solid gold bells in archaeological digs. It's always in bronze alloy.
