Is gold really the best store of value still during this imminent market collapse and crash of our currency? Crypto does rely on the existence of the internet for it to hold any value, does it not? Is it better to buy physical gold, or is it better to buy some sort of gold stock? Invest in gold mining companies?

If your base case is market collapse which is essentially society collapse at this point then nothing really matters except where your next meal will come from

Ok maybe collapse was a bit hyperbolic. The markets didnโ€™t necessarily collapse during the first world wars, in fact some industries flourished.

Besides my retirement account I'm almost completely out of equities except for yes gold mining stocks which are extremely undervalued, I want to find a nice commodity based etf and besides that entirely in stable coins, gold and btc 20/20/60 I honestly expect my physical gold share to drop I just don't really buy it much since 2020 and that 20% includes gold mining stock, the only reason I have gold is because the old guard still likes it and I prefer bitcoin personally

Stable Gold Coins. (Exchanges don't list it because it competes with their reserves (never happened before (until now) ) )

Interesting. How exactly are these digital coins โ€œtiedโ€ to physical gold? How does owning this digital token make you an owner of physical gold? Who administers it? Where is the actual gold located?

I'm fairly certain it's in Switzerland, I think you have to buy 50 Troy oz worth of tokens if you want to buy direct and is redeemable for physical but only to a Swiss address
