>>60536496 (OP)I've had tinnitus since I was about 6. So, 30 years. Do you know what causes your tinnitus? Mine seems to have something to do with my spine/neck/jaw
I got tinnitus in february. My left ear just started ringing one morning and never stopped. I got my ears checked by 3 doctors and they all said I was fine and the final one said "my brain will just get used to it". shit sucks
>>60536496 (OP)you could pay a surgeon to go and burn the part of your brain that makes sound , so it would fix tinnitus but also you would not be able to hear anything.
for me tinnitus is kinda like manual breathing or the game, it's as if it doesn't exist unless i'm reminded
thanks asshole

>>60536496 (OP)same root cause as TMJ, tension in face/neck/head muscles, overactive nervous system, high stress, unsettled emotional issues
>>60536496 (OP)If it has like a "real" determinable frequency hairing technicians can create the inverted frequency which you can hear via headphones (basically same technique noise cancelling) and help your brain unlearn to 'imagine' the tinnitus frequency

I had tinnitus for ages, high pitched on the left side, but it's subtle enough that it isn't life ruining. However during covid lockdown, I started hearing a low rumble noise on the right one. 5 years later, it got better, but sometimes I hear it, it reacts to sound. Like when I dry my hair, the noise leaves me with this rumble sound for a while. If I cover the ear with my hand, I can feel the rumble. And here's the suicidal tier impact = when I use headphones, I also get this rumble noise. It is as if you are playing a subbass, and I used to produce music, so im not able to properly mix a tune when I have a blown up subwoffer on my right ear the moment im using headphones, and I mix with closed headphones. So yeah, I lost motivation with music because of that.
>>60536577have u already tried ginkgo biloba and melatonin
Have you guys ever tried cleaning your ears with midly hot water or whatever?
Just an idea. I've never had tinnitus and I wonder if doing that could be of help.
>>60536774yeah you should run the shower into your ears regularly to clean wax.
I still have it but forget about it often. Listening to the damn locusts right now. if those "white noise cure tinninitus" youtube vids are effective then surely this is..
>>60536773I remember taking gingko biloba back in college for some reason, maybe that was it. It didn't do anything though. And I take melatonin every night to sleep. Anyways, the ordinary tinnitus doesn't really bother me at all anymore - I have eustachian tube dysfunction also which causes ear fullness, and is way more annoying
>>60536738tinnitus isn't always just caused by exposure to loud sounds, silly nigga
>>60536774tinnitus doesn't really have anything to do with the outer ear canal
>>60536760Have you been to an ENT? If so, what did they say about the blown out sub sensation? Is it just when you put on headphones or does it occur for all loud noises?
>>60536760Use a subpac to mix bass, far more accurate
