Let's talk about actually making internet money.
In this introductory post, we'll focus on one of the most saturated fields in the market: Website Development
Stop offering web design. Stop offering graphic design. Stop offering any of these generically termed shitheaps. You are a brand management consultant/specialist/expert, and you are ready and able to save their businesses from failing.
The majority of business owners have a single, universal problem. They need people to know they exist. Your expertise in backlinks and keyword research doesn't mean shit to them. What they want is a someone who offers a solution in language they understand, but with a air of expertise.
When you figure out a way to implement this strategy within your niche, the clients will come to you. It's up to you to keep up the charade, and not let the customer know you're actually an anti-social neet who will hire people on fiverr to do all the work.
Don't forget to upsell your brand protection strategies, as well. These can range from providing SERPs reports, to actively managing their entire internet persona.
Social Media Managers are just that, on social media. You're able to create a solid foundation for their businesses, and social media is secondary to their branded domain, which you will rank to higher authority than they'll ever attain on their own.
Don't worry if it sounds intimidating, because it really isn't that hard to translate your technical skills into layman's terms.
To make it even easier, you don't even need to have technical skills, as long as you know how to use correct grammar and know how to use drag and drop builders. Backends can be handled by FOSS CMS, or you can just pump out static landing pages with any of the many page builders out there.
It is a definite bonus if you know how to code and develop these things from the ground up, but what's the fun in that?
All bullshit aside:
You are going to make it.
