Suburban sprawl ruins the city center by making everyone drive in and out and putting urban highways and parking lots everywhere. They also don't pay enough taxes for all their road infrastructure so they need to be subsidized by dense city centers.

because suburban homes are the majority of what is being built however they are not the ideal living situation for younger people. suburban homes are best for families. some people take suburb hate too far but it is annoying having to drive everywhere. if it wasn't for owning a dog, most americans in suburbs would never walk more than a half mile in an entire week.

I sometimes wonder if cops don't have/enforce noise ordinances because their kids are causing car meetups in the first place. This was seriously one of the worst gripes I had with my old living accommodations, you had less than 5 hours of silence from traffic total throughout the day, and 2 of those hours came from there being too much traffic. Living downtown or somewhere in the endless rowhome sprawl elsewhere was probably quieter.

While looking for homes to purchase in the future, I am NEVER buying a house in front of a non inside neighborhood road of any kind, unless it's 100% rural.
