I worked a temp job for like 6 months last year with a guy that was exactly like this. Basically this old hispter that was pusing 50. Guy had an Asian gf (big surprise lol) and they were both alcoholics. Depends on the person I've found. Some people can be lazy/do consumption all day where as others need something to build/work on. Sometimes more than a hobby to extract value from.
