Once you understand there is no real economy in this country anymore and everything just runs off of artificial inflation and keeping line going up as long as possible, this will all make sense. Everything is fake as fuck and has been since 2008 when we started QE money printing to save this country from total economic collapse. That's why you also see so many aggressive pro-inflation bots/paid shills flooding into every finance discussion board.

bullish

the fact that we're pushing ATHs on literally everything when the fed has actively been trying to supress economic activity is bullish

Bearish for crypto. Alts have been down-only for 6 months and BTC is only back to where it was in December. This is barely a bull cycle at all.

Wrong... deflation.

I just looked up a few MOAR. It seems the recent rise is not caused by public companies increasing their profits disproportionally, or more companies going public.

> deflation
With total automation comes total wagie annihilation: The middle class will soon wake up to being jobless and unskilled, with no opportunity to retrain for any skill, as AI bros will snatch up every niche. So they will stop spending. But maybe line will still go up, because people will see their only chance of survival in pouring everything into AI stocks.

Yes, AND to grow the economy.
One solution to the government debt problem is to have the economy grow at fantastic rates.

the money will go straight to the pockets of the rich, the measures will be ineffective and regular people will be worse off because someone has to foot the bill. ai sucks, but if we replaced the president with chatgpt, everyone would be better off. tweets would be less cringe as well

he could make education great again or introduce a wealth tax on the super rich to make real world asset affordability great again. but he'll waste it on government contracts to rich people that pocket the money and do the bare minimum to avoid fraud charges

Yes, it's bullish. SPY will continue to go up 15%-20% each year forever until the end of time. This is definitely sustainable and super cool.

deflation of WHAT exactly?
>debt/money/currency?
please explain how they are ever going to "deflate" meaningfully whilst interest rates are positive.
>prices of goods, assets, services?
there seems to be infinite reasons why this can (or can not) occur so i'd think it's in the realm of possibility.
however...
you gotta take it into perspective!
which leaves me with my saying
>15%, 20%, 30% corrections mean nothing if price(value) does multiples in between them
...which nearly everything did umpteenthfold post 9/11 & GFC
so nothing short of a 80% WHILST (You) keeping or gaining your purchasing power of today will ever "make things cheap again"
