I’m starting to get really angry.

All I read about is how all these companies are buying every possible bitcoin they can OTC in a race to get the most bitcoin. Metaplanet, strategy, etc. so WHY THE FUCK ISNT IT GOING UP?

These companies aren’t all in on some conspiracy to collectively dump bitcoin. They’re not buying billions of dollars worth for no reason. SO WHY ISNT IT FUCKING GOING THE FUCK UP.

Granted, I am a coinlet, with a mere .22 btc but I want my fucking sacrifice to PAY THE FUCK OFF

Well, because it's altcoin time. Dominance will start to decline in the coming weeks. By the way, they'll dump BTC on your pumps because they're only really interested in stablecoins and tokenized assets. BTC is just the loss leader for the normies at this point.

Because XRP and Chainlink are far, FAR superior to BTC. You should take that 0.22BTC you own and divide it amongst XRP & LINK. Your gains will outpace Bitcoin in a way you cannot even comprehend. Smart money is not buying BTC anymore.

BTC is the lollipop to get you into the white van. Once they get tired of it, they'll get rid of it. Stablecoins are used to sell US debt, tokenized stocks benefit big business, Bitcoin is unnecessary, they'll get rid of it as soon as it stops rising for something else. What world do you think we live in exactly ?

Currently about 450 bitcoins are mined per day. Miners generally sell them off to cover expenses. So that's $450,000 of sell pressure per day. There needs to be at least that much in buy pressure to make the price go up

Top signal. Look at this intense rage as soon as the holy BTC is questioned. You overestimated the interest he has in it; it's just a money machine for them. Wait until he finds a new toy. Anyway, it's not my money, but please have a critical eye on this.

Except it is the truth. That's how price action works, when sell pressure outpaces buy pressure then the price goes down. When it's even, the price crabs.

BTC and Gold goes "up" when everything else goes through inflation OR broad-market upwards inertia of buying power.
We are currently experiencing inflation across DIFFERING systems, as well decline in some systems matching the rise of others. Gold and BTC on a global overview seems like it's going sideways because so many people are hedging in addition to mining being so intensive. Gold and BTC is NOT a speculation towards massive profit, but a hedge against massive loss. If everyone hedges insane amounts, you end up with the counter-intuitive result of people sacrificing present-day wealth and growth to defeat the very inflation everyone were hedging against. The looming result is that Gold and BTC suddenly "rises" in value because they saved the entire system from inflationary collapse.

By cashing out the Gold or BTC for their portrayed value, you bring the inflation they saved you from. The trick is to never publically trade BTC or Gold, in order to stop its trade from causing inflation.

But also as the price goes up it requires exponentially more buy pressure.
For example:

BTC at $15K: To move price up 10%, you need ~$30B market cap growth.

BTC at $100K: That same 10% move now requires ~$190B in new market cap.

That’s 6× more capital required for the same 10% price movement. The higher BTC goes, the harder it is to keep it climbing without massive buy pressure.

All the big purchases are happening OTC, which is off-book. Exchanges and brokers match big buyers with big holders who are willing to offload so they can shift big volumes without it affecting the price, so buying and selling is matching up at the moment. The activity on exchanges, which is what dictates the spot price, is all retail buyers and degenerate gamblers of paper bitcoin. If some massive buyer or seller tried to move hundreds of thousands of bitcoin through exchanges then they would spike some huge shift in one direction or another.

Traders do seem to believe that the availability of bitcoin for sale via OTC trades is drying up though, as is the supply in exchanges, so there's some chance that ETFs like IBIT will be forced to go to the markets to source their coin before long.
