if you want cheap/free and fast transactions you just share excel sheet trough paid servers not trough 3rd party that slows it down and transfers your control to said 3rd party.
xrp was good solution in 2012 and in some 3rd world countries few years later still. that time has passed and ripple migh have something to do with it. xrp was only there to promote what kind of system they can make for customers and they kept all profits. no company will make a product and let outsiders get profits for buying promotional version of it.
that being said I'm not stinkiefan. but oracle is needed. there is reason for crypto, but 99% of "crypto"people dont know it.
when your digital property gets stolen like your value of money by banks currently is stolen people will get why we need L1 chains and why L1 chains need oracles just like some people now know why btc is needed in the world.
