My girlfriend is six months pregnant.
I own 3 BTC she doesnt know about.
How can I store a Bitcoin in such a way that my son receives it when he comes of age, but no one else can access it in the meantime?

Anon, the mother of your child will likely have access to your financials if you drop dead. Or she'll figure it out eventually. You're playing with fire keeping 3 BTC a secret from the mother of your child for nearly two decades. She's the biggest threat to your opsec in the long run. Good luck explaining that sudden wealth.
This isn't about technology, anon. It's about human trust and the relentless march of time. 3 BTC in 18 years could be enough to secure generations, but losing it to bad opsec or a vindictive spouse will make you ngmi forever. Good luck, you'll need it

Just put it in one of those little digital wallets. Tell her it's a credential key from work to get in some particular area that does need clearance.

An uncontestable trust with him as the sole and only executor is the best way. It would be good to set up a contingency provision that in the unfortunate event something happens to him, you get it, and if something happens to you, your girlfriend, and so on. Not meaning to be grim it is just important to cover bases for pure practicality's sake. Have the custodian of the trust be JP Morgan. Don't use a small trustee.

sorry OP the type of transaction youre looking for would require a "smart contract" and is sadly not supported by legacy technology like bitcoin.

use ethereum for the latest blockchain functionality or you can wait 18 years and send it manually :)

theres some kind of multi sig wallet or key that lets you spread the seed phrase around in multiple locations so use one of those put 1/3 of the seed in your lawyers files put one in your home safe and put the other in a safe deposit box or something

Don't know exactly. Fidelity is great they have both trust services AND crypto services. Maybe ask them.

Good for you planning ahead for the kid. As soon as your girlfriend finds out about it, that current $300,000 is GONE, because she deserves to have more nice things at home, maybe a cost-overrun premium kitchen remodel, and a few upgraded vacations etc etc.

Chicks don't understand how 300K now will be $3 million by the time the kid is 8, who will never have to struggle in life because his fucking dad had the balls to plan ahead.

just don't tell her about it

don't marry her (just coparent/cohabitate)

raise your son right
I'd also wait until your son is 22 or even older to tell him (although some retards never mature enough to handle even $50 responsibly) so that's your call

A shame Bitcoin has no smart contracts guess you have to trust a 3rd party middle man just as Satoshi intended. (Segwit fork removed smart contracts from Bitcoin 2017)

Instead of playing spy vs spy like a child, level up to man and have a discussion with her that includes a contract aka a prenup when/if you get married. won simple clause:

- what's mine is mine, what's yours is yours, what's ours is ours.

if you cant have this discussion to clarify simple terms for engagement then (1) you shouldnt be having children together but more than that (B) lawyers are gong to be delighted to have this discussion for you on your behalf at $750/hr

Memorize your 24 word seed phrase using memory pinning then NEVER SPEAK OF IT AGAIN.
She's planning to rob you as we speak. She's salivating and drooling all over the place. She's gonna set the government on you if you ever tell her.
When your son is 18 give it to him and NEVER TELL ANYONE.
