Definite crash, but next year. People are still coping that they can learn to use AI as a tool. Once reality hits, things will go south quickly. Two to five years of economic depression, AI bros will come out on top, people get herded into UBI pod prisons, and that will be that.

It'll be a slightly longer timeline than that but yes you're right. The biggest factor here is just human inertia, and also the fact that there's extreme aversion to the negative press of AI going bad. If a McDonald's cashier chimps out it's bad, but it's nowhere near the level of bad press if some AI uses the N word or whatever.

It's rapidly foreseeable you'll see 20-40% inflation as AI entirely replaces every valuable thing lots of people can do. The percentage of lukewarm IQ fat black women that can just smile and file paperwork is tremendous.
