I don't know of any major US copper companies that don't also operate mines outside of the US. Right? Tariffs might benefit their domestic mines but it's going to kill their profits on foreign ones.
also most of our US copper mining companies are owned by foreign countries.

I saw a graph that most rare earth minerals are in China, Brazil and India, I do know that Canada owns the majority of brazillian mining operations, should I just go with them then?

I just don't trust the banking system. I don't think the government and Wallstreet actually has any intention of honoring the IOUs they are selling us. This is why I invest in a short squeeze (GME is to 2025 as VW was to 2008), and if that fails then I have physical silver. No sense in trusting index funds until the bond yields implodes and some sort of sustainable financial sanity emerges. Otherwise we're all just tossing money into a black hole. They can't take all this money and spend it on war and then at the same time turn around and pay us back with interest. Someone is getting robbed and at this point it's OBVIOUS it's the bond holders and all of the stress is getting dumped on the dollar.
It's not my problem and I am happy to not have to worry about such things because I keep my purchasing power outside of the fiat-ponzi financial system

I work for a bank and I don't trust banks. It's all funny money on a screen that people bet on being paid back when loaned out. And when it can't be paid back it collapses and "value" is lost AKA numbers go to zero.
Putting my faith in hard assets is the best thing I've done financially.

Yea, they only live and die owning Treasuries which are all good investments if the U.S. taxpayers all pay $250,000 to the government. Let's all put our money in to these things and hope for the best. You see, money and debt. None of this stuff actually "matters". It's so super-secret and hard to understand that no one actually needs to get it. It just works, somehow, lol!

A soldier was given the job of hunting for buffalo.
To help him, he hired a Native American scout.
The two of them set off on their journey to find buffalo.
After riding awhile, the scout gets off his horse, puts his ear to the ground and says "Hmmm, buffalo come."
The soldier scans the area with his binoculars, but sees nothing.
He is confused and says to the scout, "I do not see anything, how do you know buffalo come?"
The scout replies, "Ear sticky".

Problem is there's a glut of silver and its taxed at a punitive rate
Lmao, the government taxes silver and gold at a punitive rate since they are considered collectibles like beanie babies, so high you are guaranteed to lose if you hold long term.
>Pre-1965 silver coinage, which contains 90% silver and 10% copper, is subject to specific tax regulations. The IRS considers physical holdings in precious metals, including pre-1965 silver coins, as collectibles. When these coins are sold, the gains are subject to capital gains tax, which is up to 37%. This tax rate applies to the sale of precious metals, regardless of whether they are in the form of bullion coins, bullion bars, rare coinage, or ingots. The tax rate depends on your marginal tax rate.

Anyway, for those outside the US. Our president has been pushing about this huge pedo ring that encapsulates government officials, CIA, FBI etc.
Said they had a list. Literally today they changed their mind and their is no lost.
Population is more pissed than it has been in ages.
All faith is gone and the dollar is backed by faith. Value is going to leave the dollar and the safe haven will be gold and silver as it always is.
Would have happened sooner but btc hid the pressure by acting as a relief valve. 100's of billions of value locked away doing nothing where it usually would have been consuming or hiding in PM's
Give or take two weeks, we may very well see a switch flip moment.
Gold is going to bull hard first. Then silver is going to make an insane jump when the avg NPC figures out their money is worthless.

First impression: their changes are a bit disappointing.
The good: the new obverse IMHO is nicer, and they added a butterfly and the tarantula wasp.
The bad: They're just one ozt now and not high-relief. They're also priced pretty high for generic rounds. Six of them are already on 'waitlist' and I got the announcement just tonight that they even exist.

How do you faggots still not get it? O wait you do get were waiting for people to lose confidence in the currency system at which point it won't matter if you lose millions anywhere in the stock market if you hold precious metals because all that liquidity in the system will be looking for a easy to be cashed out and it will only be cashed out into real commodities of real physical value and at that point you will make up for any losses because almost all purchasing power will chase precious metals and physical commodities. This event will be the hyperinflation where not only is inflation going on, but people will be getting rid of their fiat currency as quick as they can instead of holding on to it and you will see prices go up insanely as people get rid of their currency that's continuously being printed.

It has to be a bot, the alternative is too grim and sad to imagine, that a real human could waste away their one and only life in such a pathetic and worthless way...
I truly hope it's a bot, for their sake.

I agree - it's the actual international standard for valuation, so manipulations stand out vis-a-vis economies.
>silver is being purposefully kept undervalued
That's the meme here. I don't agree - it has gone on too long and it's too widespread to hide such activity. I really don't want to get into it though, as there's enough disruption going on. (inb4 JP Morgan market manipulation news - they got caught and stopped).

I believe so too, ever since silver did 33>37, the futes were trading lower than spot, but since the beginning of this week, the trend slowly reverted back, and now futes are once again trading over spot, and at a quite high level (+$.70/oz), same level we got right before the previous 2 major legs up.
I think it's pretty telling : traders' appetite for silver is back, they entirely digested the $35 resistance and we didn't even got ONE retracement below this point, even when shorts were piling up like crazy record levels a month ago.
Any wall street fag predicted a brutal red candle back to $30, but instead we crabbed at 37 while the shorts @2M were getting slaughtered. It was building up momentum for what's about to come.
$50 by Sept isn't just hopium anymore, silver is really cooking for it.

BBB is just a small part of it. Multitude of factors:
>Fed spokespeople talking about rate cuts yesterday
>Tariffs
>Europoors wanting to rearm their military so they can die in WW3, requires lots of silver
>HSBC which was the giga silver seller which manipulated the silver market to be undervalued so China could scoop up cheap silver concentrate for their their solar industry has not returned to dumping silver since April, all due to tariffs on Chinese solar.
Most banks are record long in their short positions on silver. All it takes is one or two of them to panic and start to cover and we go to $50+ in a matter of days.

Silver is a much safer investment than gold. Once they find gold in outer space they will find silver too but gold will always be more economical to bring back to Earth due to its higher density. That means a higher chance of a gold glut to drive down prices but not as much for silver.

Seems like the coins from the various countries are generally of a similar price per weight.
Should I just pick which countries and images I like the best or is there deeper things to consider?
For instance, the 1 oz Canadian maple vs the 1 oz Britannias vs the 2 oz βTudor beastsβ, etc?

The Tudor beasts typically have a way higher premium so I would avoid those unless you plan to keep it for a long time. It really depends on your goals. If you want the best bang for your buck get anything as close to spot as you can, especially if you intend on trading or selling it in the future. If you want to collect and don't mind dropping extra cash for nice stuff, get those specialty coins like the Tudor beasts. The most widely recognized sovereigns are the Silver Eagle, Maple, Krugerrand, Philharmonic, and... one more I'm forgetting. I'm admittedly fairly new to this and this is mostly just information that I've read around here so someone else who's been in the game longer can chime in.

This may sound unbelievable, but if just a few boomer millionaires walk in and buy out your LCS, they could very quickly eat up the supply and the physical distribution networks are too thin to be able to resupply everyone quickly. Paper millionaires are all safely tucked away in the capital markets collecting interest and dividends. At some point inflation will start running away faster than you can earn gains elsewhere and those portfolios can easily slurp up any domestic supply. We saw APMEX stop taking orders back in 2021.

f I'm not mistaken, 483 million ounces of silver were sold yesterday, within an hour, in an effort to stop this breakout in silver.
This short position is now completely underwater, which means that whoever sold those ounces was either an extremely bad trader, or had no intention of making money in the first place.
And since 483 million ounces is 57% of the annual mine supply, I'm assuming there is no physical silver to back this position. This amount is not available for sale, anywhere.

They don't have the political capital to pull that off. There is zero faith in the government and anyone who takes two seconds to think about it realizes the government is bankrupt and if you get in bed with them you'll just end up bankrupt along with them. The truth is, the banks will need capital and you'll walk to the front of the line to buy in to whatever new banking system arises while everyone else is fighting with niggers for a loaf of bread.

The only reason they were able to βconfiscateβ gold in the 30βs was because we were on the gold standard and the central bank needed gold to print more dollars. We donβt have that now.

If you are referring to the USA, the abundance of pre-1933 American gold coinage for sale today is solid proof of just how ineffective it was. And the people back then were MUCH more inclined to trust the government than they are now.

Only like 10-15% of coins were even confiscated. Individuals were able to own up to 5 ounces per person per household. If you had 20 gold coins in 1933 then you could literally just give them to your kids and that was perfectly fine.

It wasn't enforced, and back then people actually had confidence in the government. Not so these days. I'd rather bury it in the back yard and forget about it than hand it over to a KNOWN bankrupt entity.
The system wants precious metals anyway. So once the losses get eaten by the plebs, they want PM holders to buy back in to the system as preferred customers. Reality will separate the haves from the have-nots. That will be determined on physical ownership. The world has no need for useless eaters sitting on multi million dollar portfolios collecting checks doing nothing. The system is top heavy, and the super elite need to knock people off the life raft back into the water. That take-down will impact credit assets because that is where the problem lies. The counterbalance will FORCE precious metals higher as a necessary condition that $80TN of assets can't suffer a collapse in purchasing power without it impacting other things in the economy. Capital flows to quality and assets that can not be effortlessly counterfeit will win by default.

The majority of crypto is just place for people who don't know better to hide their fiat. They recognize that the fiat bubble is primed to pop, they're just mistaken in their solution. Crypto will likely pump with commodities, but when the bubble bursts, the dam will break on many commodities, leaving paper money in the dust. Not in any kind of sadistic or malevolent sort of way, but I'm actually looking forward to being able to pay off my house with cheap dollars, should inflation begin to seriously run away.

>grok
I seriously just asked grok this same question a few minutes ago. it came up with a short list for me, with justifications:
>1. Silver - supply/GSR/industrial use/etc.
>2. NVDA - anticipated leader in future AI boom
>3. Solana - anticipated institutional investment
>4. TSLA - AI and anticipated optimus rollout
of the list it gave, they were all highlighted as purely speculative but were educated guesses for future breakout gains, EXCEPT for silver, which it presented as an inevitability, albeit without a timeline.

Just because all of the silver pundits are early and come across as simpletons is actually to be expected. The price manipulation and fundamental analysis is not all that complicated. The real question here is WHY specifically is the money/industry metal not allowed to make all time highs while every other commodity seems to do so with ease?
Sure am glad I was stacking at $18 an ounce like a madlad. I was working my weekends just for three years specifically to stack more and I the comfort it provides is unparalleled. It's even better than my GME shares.
