I did a similar thing with Apple back in the day, and I have since sold all my shares and transitioned to an index portfolio with good results.

Keep in mind that when I bought Apple it was already a very valuable company, and when Buffett bought Apple it was already the most valuable company in the world (like Nvidia today) and yet it kept printing money for another decade.
