I worked for a local nonprofit for awhile. It was a "community resource center" that provided job training and computers for people to use etc. All our computers were windows 95 and 98. Even tho we recived funding for updated equipment. One time there was a green jobs program to train laid off workers to install solar panels etc. Before it started my boss told me to tell people that the program was full when they tried to sign up. She also use to pay me cash to stay in the office overnight and shred boxes of documents and not ask questions etc. "Nonprofits" are an absolute scam. We used to get vacations and bonuses. All paid for with tax dollars.

You could do the same thing with damn near anything, from animal rights (PeTA) to environmentalism (Nature Conservancy) to "autism awareness" (which doesn't do anything other than "raise awareness" anyway). FFS you could set up a charity to help Thai prostitutes, market it to all the dumbfuck religious zealots in the U.S., rake in donations, and go fuck hookers in Pattaya to "help" them make more money.
