Not at all. There's no expectation about how much money someone spends in a relationship, it's all about how much you want to do together. Some months I spend a lot on my gf because we'll go to a convention and I pay for everything including her cosplays (my choice). Some months I spend nothing because we spend every night binging a show on Netflix. It completely varies from person to person and from month to month or even week to week.

This all being said, my honest piece of advice is to expect to spend money in a relationship. Doing things costs money. For people who are super social, they understand this, so dating doesn't actually cost them anything since they're just moving personal spending to date spending. But if your personal spending is limited to one PS5 game a month, they're going to want more than that. Not because they're a needy gold-digging whore, but because they want to do things with you.
