Almost all of the crypto space is still talking about implementing ZK snarks and ZK proofs unaware that the next big leap, Secure Multi Party Computation is already close to reaching its roll out stage to mass adoption due to something called the DFFT or Data Free Flow with Trust that the Japanese, the European Union, APEC, OPEC and the G7

What is Multi Party Computation?
Multi Party Computation allows multiple parties (more than 2) to confidentially share, then compute on data that needs to maintain some level of privacy for any reason. This can be stuff like 10 people working out what their average wage is without each individual having to expose what their actual salary is too the others. Each participant is able to keep their information secret, but are still able to share it to the others.

Since we're in bull season we might have some tourists from other boards like /v/ here so ill explain using a food analogy.
A bunch of sandwich artists are all making a new dish to serve at their fast food stores and want to know what ingredients they have in common without revealing what their full ingredient lists are to each other
so the chefs each put their ingredient lists into a program designed to do secure multi party computations
chef 1 ingredients: tomato, bacon, lettuce, salami, bread, onion
chef 2 ingredients: cheese, cucumber, steak, barbeque sauce, salt, bread
chef 3: Salami, Pepperoni, Leg Ham, salt, Mozzarella Cheese, Tomato,
chef 4: tuna, tomato sauce, bread

if each chef were to chuck this into an MPC smart contract, the results would go back to the chefs saying bread has 4 recipes in common, tomato 2-3, salt 2 ect. with how strict these results are to be decided before hand (will ingredients in sauces count?) while maintaining privacy, no one can see the full list from each chef(unless someone made a 1:1 copy of someone elses sandwich)

obviously doing this for food is inane but for drugs its extremely useful and vastly better to what industries do now

>Data Free Flow with Trust that the Japanese, the European Union, APEC, OPEC and the G7
are working on*

Multi Party Computation removes the need for traditional data sharing agreements or third-party data custodians by letting each organization keep its private inputs encrypted or secret-shared, while still collaborating on joint analyses. This can reduce the legal and governance cycle from months to weeks or even days, since institutions no longer need to negotiate complex anonymization protocols or cross-border data transfers.

These legal and regulatory requirements are currently one of the biggest challenges to sharing data across borders, not only is this a problem to for allowing data to flow freely between researchers cross nations, but regulations around user privacy are actively becoming more strict over time, necessitating a way for data to be shared while comply to these increasingly strict regulations
So how will companys and researchers get around this? The World Economic Forum has some ideas and it involves Multi Party Computation

its bullish for globohomo coins, including Chainlink, but particularly a certain token thats currently being experimented on by a massive Japanese security company to fulfill a part of DFFT in which MPC is required, like digital passports for the European Union

>>60629309
In order for DFFT to work, the EU, Japan, APEC, G7 all came to the conclusion that Privacy Enhancing Technologies (or PETS for short) are necessary for cross border sharing of confidential information, one of the main ones that will be used is MPC, using MPC you can share healthcare records between researchers, companys, hospitals, governments for any kind of research out there without compromising privacy and complying to all regulations. Comparing tax records between banks and countrys to detect fraud.
Multiple banks can jointly analyze transaction patterns to detect fraudulent behavior without sharing raw customer data. Each institutionโ€™s input stays secret, yet collectively improving fraud-scoring accuracy.
Hospitals and research centers can compute aggregate statistics or train models on patient data (e.g., treatment efficacy) without exposing individual health records, meeting GDPR and HIPAA requirements
Government agencies can run joint analytics on census or tax records to inform policy decisions without any agency accessing anotherโ€™s detailed datasets, mitigating privacy concerns.
Organizations can train shared machine-learning models (e.g., fraud detection, medical diagnosis) on combined datasets ensuring that intermediate model updates never leak private data, delivering accurate global models without raw-data exchange
Large companys can share customer data without breaching any regulations or compromising their customers identities
The usecases of Multi Party Computation are enormous https://www3.weforum.org/docs/WEF_Next_Gen_Data_Sharing_Financial_Services.pdf

Partisia Blockchain, start reading up on their partnership with Toppan Edge
This random shitcoin from Denmark got a partnership with a multi billion dollar japanese security company despite being on different continents and having a language barrier, the reason for this very likely has something to do with mutual DFFT ambitions the European Union and Japan are actively working towards, which were started by Shinzo Abe in 2019.
Not just that but this multi billion dollar Japanese company has basically outright said if their testrun with Partisias digital passports is successful they're gonna roll it out everywhere.

theres also more stuff Toppan is allegedly doing with partisia involving blockchain based soulbound tokens, where they'll be collecting and using customer data like income, purchases, personality, and even speech patterns en mass to create virtual AI representations of 1000s of customers that marketers and advertisers can then talk to and abuse for marketing data, Multi Party Computation is necessary for all this to be legal. The ability for advertisers to have tens of thousands of ai customers they share around and preview ads to as a testrun before going live will be massive,

the data can also be used to create ai customer service representatives at Kiosks or technical helpers for phone helplines for whatever, plumbing helplines, poison helplines, they'll be trying to see if ai can do it all

They're making some RFID tags for syringes in the medical industry but theres an interesting thing in the article

background
>when administering prefilled syringe preparations, three-point authentication is performed in which nurses confirm their own ID, patient ID, and prescription ID to prevent misadministration of medication. Conventionally, confirmation and registration of medication information was performed manually, but in medical settings where rapid response is required, the risk of mixing up medication and the high workload of medical professionals are issues. In response
>to these issues, TOPPAN EDGE has developed a UHF band RFID tag for prefilled syringes in collaboration with Terumo. By setting it on a dedicated syringe pump, the RFID tag can be automatically read, contributing to preventing medication errors and reducing the burden of medication administration .... we have designed and manufactured a label-type RFID tag that can be read without misreading, regardless of the orientation of the drug or tag.

the next logical step in regards to auditability is to put this on the blockchain

1. nurse scans her own Digital ID Passport (partisia), the record of her doing this goes to both the hospital database and the blockchain (probably partisia since they're already working together)
2. nurse scans patients digital ID passport (partisia)
3. nurse scans syringe RFID (Terumo) with the record getting sent to the hospital and the blockchain (probably partisia)
with this they have an audit trail that can't be tampered with at all

yeh i don't why so many projects think its a good idea to have these drawn out vesting schedules , its better to just dump on launch and build back up than to have years of unlocks pounding the price
