I’m about to get a $25k bonus. I need some good altcoins to invest in, no shitters or BTC maxis pls. I’m thinking of splitting it between link and xrp , and having $2k to maybe do a shitcoin. Thoughts ?

Oldfag here. If you do not own at least a few hundred XRP you are making a mistake. Everyone here does just in case even if they are not schizos. Probably we will have another broad cross-asset washout and a better entry point but if you have zero XRP, I would not bank on it happening and would just accept that you may see a crash but be willing to just deal with it emotionally to make sure you have some in case the Dotcom moment doesn't come (and if it does, do not be demoralized, buy more of and diversify across a handful of assets my personal recs for solid bets are XRP, QNT, XDC, ALGO, HBAR, AVAX, XLM, SUI, APT, FLR, ONDO, OMNI, ADA, SOL, POL, ARB, ATOM, DAG, AAVE, DOT, VET, ZRO).

Link is a solid project but the tok3n (for some reason the word with a 3 not substituted in is filtered as spam periodically as is happening here, unable to post without this single change) is literally not used in the product and Chainlink Labs just do price feeds for larger services that move and store value on other networks that are built to do so.

SUI is very interesting. It is one of the projects that came out of Facebook's attempt at crypto when they disbanded and the developers spllit off. Aptos is the other prominent one. Both were listed by ONDO (Black Rock, Wisdom Tree, Franklin Templeton, etc.) in their org chart of networks they are working with. Much more to see be said!

Some of the shitters that refused to die is actually what's propping up my portfolio the most rn,even though I invested quite a bit more into alts. Mostly it's the overall nihilism and predatory founders that ruined the altcoin market. It might be still feasible to make a few X's with alts but in order to do that you'll need to really know what you're doing

SXT. Let me know of any other sub-$150m marketcap coin that's partnered with Microsoft, Chainlink, Nvidia, Grayscale, etc. I haven't found any other lowcap coin with as many top partners. It'll hit $1 by February 2026 (peak of the upcoming altcoin bullrun.)
