It's gonna pass 100%. Otherwise XRP and Chainlink got US Banking Licenses for nothing. That would make no sense. They are the guys lobbying for it.
They expect it to pass.
It's gonna pass.
And US-based CBDCs are going to spread like AIDs in the 80s. The writing is on the wall for this one.

You sound just like my boomer mom.
Look at the bigger picture. CBDCs were predicted for years. It was thought Biden or Kamala would be the one to do it but that never came to fruition. Now it's happening under Trump, it's clear that CBDCs are a bipartisan issue and they will be pushing this for decades to come.
>>60639539
I don't like chain$tink or xherpies, get the fuck out of my thread if you think I'm shilling that shit. I'm talking about CBDCs. I only mentioned them because of their corporate actions involved in this.

Relax, low impulse nignog.
Gonna just repeat, take a look at the bigger picture.
CL and XRP are getting heavily involved with banking because they're banking on CBDC legislation passing.
Trump is largely on board with CBDCs. Very likely chance the GENIUS act passes.

No one uses the public network. They use private licenced software which CLL subsidizes through selling the token to you. And none of thier products are even used to move or store real value, they are just used for price data while value is sent and stored on other networks. There is no economic incentive for them to change this due to how uneconomic the network is vs. alternatives. Chainlink labs may do well but token holders have no idea of the tech they think they invested in.

>Permitted issuers must maintain reserves backing the stablecoin on a one-to-one basis using U.S. currency or other similarly liquid assets, as specified.
And how would every single one do this?

Good. BTC is the albatross around the neck of the crypto community. It's a dinosaur with absolutely no utility in any direction. It's value is based on narrative and literally nothing else.

The sooner it dies, the sooner the crypto space can do good.

Totally agree. The BTC narrative is getting more and more delusional, it alarms me to no end. It's outdated, it's not serious. BTC, XRP, DOGE, LTC... all this bullshit needs to leave the top 10 for crypto to become truly serious.

The Clarity Act passed the House too, holy shit.
This one still has to go to the Senate, but it's basically a slam dunk.

The Genius act is going straight to Trump's desk though, and he will probably sign it tomorrow.
Absolutely crazy.

WLFI is the key to understanding all this. They want to take over the stablecoin industry. No other analysis is relevant.

So looks like the bill gives a 3 year grace period for stablecoin issuers to come into compliance...tether's leader also mentioned that he can simply create a US compliant version of tether (similar to binance vs binance US), so looks like tether (and by extension btc) will be okay.

If btc dies, crypto as a whole is finished, no sane investor will want anything to do with anything crypto-related if btc goes the way of the dodo.

All registered stablecoins are able to be frozen and seized banning cbdc just creates a degree of separation so it has to go through a law enforcement channel, I don't see any benefit of having it issued directly from the FED versus the private sector
