yes, you figured out LINK will run the world - great, now keep it to yourself and those open to new ideas.
Many average people, not BAD people, just not financially literate nor haven’t understood what an ISO standard is let alone DvP or even smart contract settlement or for that matter, having ever worked in a big financial corporation having the first hand experience of understanding the issues inherent to traditional API + DB stacks will not be able to comprehend what you’re trying to say.
You’re well intentioned. You don’t want them to be scammed by what you clearly see is an elaborate, albeit stupid, game played by Ripple - but you’re HURTING them. You’re FRUSTRATING them.
They believe in this more than they understand big finance and banking fundamentals. They don’t understand the software lifecycle between PoC, Pilot, and full Production. They want to be right. They need to be right. They’ve been sold ideas that lack ground, but it doesn’t matter. The vision is stronger than reality. You’re hurting them, and triggering primal rage.
