It's way faster, cheaper and sufficiently decentralized. No one cares about decentralization anyways

this

it's etf and corporate demand cycle. a single day of etf demand counters the entire of eth's yearly inflation.

sol still hasn't countered its inflation with the entirety of its corporate demand yet and its where 99% of extraction scams are where that sol immediately gets turned back into usdc

Cause many others do what Solana does too - Solana can't take the whole cake
All the US utility in the top 40 CMC is having their own share.

SOL is a fake blockchain for scams and that's about it. Last cycle in 2020/2021 they literally restarted the (blockchain) multiple times because it stopped producing blocks all together. If ETH did that it would be a shitshow.

Is ETH worthless essentially or is it ever going to do anything in the future? I actually just found an old wallet with some and was about to transfer it and buy BTC.

Solana is the sexy chain for smart people. Ethereum rests on its laurels and no longer innovates, unlike SOL. The history of innovation shows that technology that no longer makes an effort eventually fades away. Obviously, ETH currently still benefits from the habit effect, but this will disappear more and more as the generation that grew up with SOL arrives.

XStock is an innovation, bringing blockchain to phones is another. Technically, Solana is a marvel of speed and efficiency. The chain has crashed several times, but I doubt it will happen again. It's true that with such long transaction times, Ethereum isn't likely to crash, but... time is money. I don't want to be a grandfather while I wait to receive a transaction.

>XStock is an innovation,
The company behind xstock has already put stocks on the ethereum blockhain as well as eth l2s like base with the whole backed fi stocks. Also Xstocks is also avaliable to use on Arbitum an ethereum l2.
> blockchain to phones is another
Vapourware and even if it wasn't there is also an ethereum phone (sadly)

solana already has steep competition from ETH L2s. what will happen when Ethereum implements single slot finality?

Hereโ€™s the real answer: Ethereum just keeps evolving. You can now not only swap tokens, but also bridge them across different Layer 2 networks all within a single uniswap transaction, and at a cost even lower than Solana. Thats right a waay more complex transaction is now cheaper on ETH L2 vs SOL L1 mainnet which has a 20% chance to fail or get dropped. ETH Layer 2s are the next Erc20 Standard, there are protocols in place allowing Layer 2s to communicate with each other seamlessly, its getting to a point where i won't even notice that im using a L2 or even which one. The most bullish part is that ANY company or person can start their own L2 with their own custom rules, want Fund Freezing, or claw backs, KYC only? SURE no problem! each L2 is independent autonomous and inherits as much security from Ethereum Mainnet as ETH L1 itself. And they have the option to communicate and interact with other L2s Economy and liquidity. Its like watching a country being built in real time each L2 as secure as the whole Ethernet.

it's not descentralized it's blockchain grows like 100tb size per year, meanwhile a retard with 1000 usd can run an eth node.

Solana can be take down with operation chokepoint 3.0 targeting servers like amazon vps by president elizabeth warren.

Big faggots in the ecosystem knows this hence why they invest in eth and eth l2, they are comfy with stablecoins being created on l1 and then others tokenizing them on l2.

They are not comfy with Solana in fact i suspect a lot of the early investors that made a ton of money deep down know this and are moving to eth from sol slowly.

You newfags don't seem to get the pressure crypto had to endure i am not lying when i say that biz had in 2019-2021 literal glowie jannies they outright showed you their badge if you told them you used crypto for international transactions.

SOL would not have survived back then btc & eth did, but should we ended with BTC & SOL for stablecoins back then then SOL would have not survived the glownigger attack we were under at the time, they would have done operation chokepoint on servers and destroyed stablecoins.

People don't get how serious the attack vector was the bsv fork was also an attack vector against btc and roger ver videos from the time even had death threats from bsv glowies because bch was just the excuse to fork btc and then they forked bch to bsv to centralize the system and then kill it.

They were being that surgical in their attack against crypto, thank god for ethereum, had it not existed as descentralized as it is stablecoins and exchanges would have been attacked destroying bitcoin value proposition in the process leaving it with a lower marketcap and hashrate exposing it to the bsv angle of attack completely destroying crypto, we dodged the bullet.
