I used to keep 20K LINK on a browser extension. I kinda forgot about it after awhile and I reinstalled windows without thinking about it. Thankfully I had the seed phrase written down and I successfully recovered the wallet but it had me freaking out for a bit lol.

It's not on a browser extension, it's stored on le blockchain. Just write down your seed phrase on a seed phrase and maybe make a multisig with a hardware wallet.
