Boomers and their parents really really hate going to fill up their gas tanks, it's all of a sudden become a humiliation ritual for them now that their knees ache and public stares are more crowding and foreign than it ever was in their memory. They don't use these chargers except for in emergencies typically. But the "free gas" was good enough advertising for the boomer class that complains about fuel prices because they grew up in a time that gas was 20 cents a gallon.
