The home I live in is located pretty close to an important industry; one which, for the the last several decades, have been on the short list of targets in the event of a nuclear war. I don't worry about nuclear war because I would be radioactive dust floating above anons before anyone knew we were at war.

The same thing here. If the USD fails, the world fails; and fails so badly that it will become a mass extinction event. Since I am above the age where I would have any chance of surviving it; there is no downside to my investing in USD based products.
