everyone is too demoralized now but i watched sergey at the last smartcon
he said clearly that the goal is adoption at all costs currently
cll gets rich (they get paid millions for some integration, even etherscan does) but no focus on token yet
you can be bullish or bearish about this
i wouldn't worry about token right now and just pray for swift or dtcc to confirm some mainnet transactions this year, that will wake people up
