Let's talk about Strategy's perpetual preferred stock
>STRF
Current effective yield 9.2%, top of the capital stack, more secure than US bonds.
>STRK
Current effective yield 7.4% with potential for upside if MSTR common stock moves higher.
>STRD
Current effective yield 11.6%, junk bond, more risk but more reward.

They've also just launched STRC, a variable rate perpetual preferred stock engineered to act like a stablecoin with ~9% yield.
Why aren't you using these as your savings vehicle?

Bewilderment, obviously.
You guys know you can put your money into STRC now and receive monthly ~9% dividends now, right? What rate do you get leaving it in your bank account?
The silence kind of shows that the vast majority, if not all, of the board are poorfags. Shame. You're all missing out.

Anon, you are speaking into the void. This board is practically dead. While your suggestions are perfectly fine, don't expect many responses. This board has like 20 active users and 10 of them just post bobos all day because they're sidelined. If you're expecting deep discussion here, you are misguided.

How so? As I said in OP, their STRF preferred is literally more secured than US bonds. as long as you understand that BTC will goes up forever. Strategy are one of the most underleveraged companies in the US. Take a look.

It's on the premise that BTC price increase greater than any offered yield.
They buy BTC with preferred offerings.
They ATM (issue new shares) MSTR common stock to pay dividends, or do the same with the preferreds to reinvest.
Common stock is diluted slower than BTC increases. Arbitrage play. MSTR price increases.
If you think BTC has >10% CAGR then their business model works. Well it doesn't matter what you think, but that's the risk.

They've already qualified for the S&P 500.
As I posted,

Retail don't seem to be aware, it's only ever FUD. FASB accounting results in quarterly earnings over $30 per share I thing, with expected profit of 7c or .7c, I dont remeber, irrelevent.
Mathematially this company is going to be top of the Mag7 within 2 or 4 years, depending on how the Bitcoin market plays out.

But my previous post somewhat irrelevant.
Strategy already offer these perpetual preferred stocks that I put in OP >>60690639 (OP)
If peple don't understand, they are preferred stock, meaning in case of liquidation they get paid out first. If the company becomes insolvent, can't pay dividends, collapses, they have to sell the BTC and pay out these preferred stock holders.
It's just never going to happen, the yield and capital return is mathematically guaranteed.
How are people not all over these? It's literally free money. That's why the STRC IPO has upsized 5x from the offering when offered to institutions.
/biz/ is supposed to be the place to make money but all you mongs do is argue over shitcoins and ignore what's really going on.

This lad is probably all in on MSTR. It's going to moon. (IMy ISA portfolio is all in too, cash is in STRD, and dads portfolio in SWC.) We're going to be multi-BTC'ers in 12-18 months.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXk6H1efCsM
Even if BTC doesn't go up, their balance sheet is stable. I know it's 2 hours but please, put it on 1.25x.
Anyone who is doubtful about MSTR, needs to watch this.
I don't come here often, I've made some money from coming here previously and just wanted to give some value back.
Just read the OP and do your own due diligence about STRD's 11% yield. Why would they offer that?

Yes
Check out the terms. It's designed to maintain it's capaital value at ~$100 so the yield will reflect that and average out at ~9%.
It's like having a bank account (as long as you hit the ex-div date) that pays monthly at ~9%.
What bank offers that? You put your USD in a bank, they take literally 4-5% in inflation off your money, STRC gives you extra, STRK pays you and will beat inflation because it's tied to MSTR (BTC)

It's structured around the assumption BTC will never have an extended bear market and will forever be in its cycles forever. My prediction is this is the last cycle one way or another, either BTC gets permanent institutional adoption or it enters a long term bear market in which it may never recover. The second is the max pain approach that makes Saylor's scheme collapse, so because this world is evil and likes to make people suffer, that's what I bet will happen one way or another.

Yeah, STRC has only been IPO'd to institutons yesterday, will become available to retail within days, check IBKR I suppose. The price will be below $100, pump as much capital in to it as you can. even if it's $99, it will go up to $100. Free alpha, enjoy.
Their whole offerings are supposed to cover everyones needs. Push fiat in to BTC.
>>60691672

This.
Strategy could have a drawdown to ~$16k for more than 5 years and still pay the dividends and keep buying.
Please look into it. This is a unique time. Asymmetric returns are all across the BTCTC board.
Like I said I just wanted to put some value back into /biz/.

If it's tied to $100 and the yield is 9%, considering inflation is 3%, don't you lose money long term? because the underlying stays at $100, so it has 0% growth. Shouldn't it have 3%+ to keep up with inflation?

Dividends are paid monthly. The stock doesn't lose or gain value, you beat inflation because of the dividends. This is pretty simple stuff desu, you understand how dividends work, right?

I've been thinking, there could be an opportunity to dividend capture with this if the stock price doesn't fluctuate. Will have to see how it plays out.
