SWIFT feels threatened by emerging crypto projects, I think they're going to pull a Microsoft on linky in the worst way possible. Also, much like the Mastercard controversy, FEES will eat it the benefits. On paper its always looked good, i was even sold at one point, but in practice it's been shit everytime.

>>60715843not watching your youtube video
i've been in the space long enough to know that staking is a big red flag in crypto
not a single project offers staking and is actually doing better than before
lets say they offer 5% APY ,inflation is 3%, then this means it has to rise with more than 8% to actually become successful, but there is also costs for those who are servicing the staking service, so it would need to rise with a steady 10% to not operate at a loss

>>60720674i've been looking for this Susan Treister Hexen 2 tarot deck for years now but i can't find it for under like $200 and i'm broke
i also want a bunch of very fancy european hand-printed antique reproduction tarots but again, they're all over $100 or at least over $50 and i don't feel comfortable spending that kind of money on stuff i will only rarely use
someday...

Last thread when it was dumping someone said "We're going to be so poor my bastards". Funniest shit anyone's said in these threads for ages

It’s over bros…
It’s always over for us :(
Why are bitcoin spergs dumping the market now?

here's my ideal:
>drops to a value of $0.00001 per XRP on August 8th
>I then buy 100,000,000 XRP
>everyone sells their stacks
>something happens that has high volume of retail buyers all buying small amounts
>price shoots back up to $3 on August 15th
>I sell the top before anyone else
>tanks back down to pennies
>tfw I made it

>>60726291Ya that’s 80% huh? Does it need to be greater than 80% or something? Good question tho, quite interesting
>>60726291Threshold is 28 yes votes. We have 23. We need 5 more. Not voting or missing a vote is the same as voting no.
Permissioned Domain is a step towards Permissioned DEXs.
>>60726291In order for any amendment on the XRPL to be implemented, it must have OVER 80% consensus.
Look at the amendments on this page:
https://xrpscan.com/amendments
There is a column called Threshold.
But that column is misleading.
It shows how many votes are needed to reach 80%.
Which is stupid; since it needs to be over 80% to be approved.
The total number of current validators online will sometimes fluctuate up and down.
And thus change the number of votes needed.
Currently there are 35 validators.
Notice how 28 out of 35 is the current threshold.
But as I explained above, this is misleading, since 28/35 = exactly 80%.
So to reach the necessary "anything above 80%" threshold, the real number is 29 out of 35.
Once that magic 29/35 is reached, a 2 week countdown starts.
>Insert worn out 2 more weeks joke.If the validators in favor stay above that 80% threshold the entire time, then the amendment gets implemented at the end of the 2 weeks.
If at any time during the 2 week countdown, the threshold drops to 80% or less, then the countdown disappears.
Even if the threshold goes above 80%, it has to start the 2 week countdown from the beginning.
If our malevolent rulers really wanted to fuck with us, they would do this back and forth approval and rejection on Permissioned Domains multiple times; before finally letting it happen.
It would be pure torture to see it get approved, be 1 day away from implementation, and then fall just short of approval, to not get implemented.
Then have a validator flip back to approving it, to restart the 2 week countdown.
Too many of us know that this is The Switch to flip.
And our incredibly sick and evil rulers would just have a field day harvesting schizos' loosh in XSG and on crypto twitter.
>>60726492Why is it just now being voted on tho? If ripple has had this grand vision for so long, why not propose this years ago? Genuinely wondering
>>60726517Because this is all a stage play.
They'll implement it when the script they receive from our malevolent rulers tells them to.
>>60726527Ya…maybe it’s all ducking and weaving from the status quo trying to block them

David is sick of bitcoin practical being the single hub for liquidity and indicator of the whole markets price. So he has decided to start pumping XRP by himself.
