I've interviewed before and I don't relate with "can you explain this gap in your resume". Most of interviewer are HR woman who "work" is comparable to the one you see in those lame as "Fortune 500" company tiktok. They don't know what actual work is, they recite the "script" that they learned and draw conclusion from their failed psychology analysis. I've had people say don't cross your arms because it means "you're uninterested" and other dumbass shit like this and I don't know damn well this wasn't the reason because I can understand my emotion pretty well compared those woman who think they are afraid to go to the store because a dog barked at them once when they were 11 while going to the store and it caused a "trauma".
When something have been existing for too long it get filled with people who don't know what they are doing. They are just doing what they are told with no explanation and without understanding what they are doing.
