Stop rinsing your chicken int he sink. Cover your pots and pans with a lid, they literally come with them unless you're buying second hand.

Dishwasher. If you're cooking for yourself (and everyone in this thread is) you can easily fit a week's dishes in one load if you aren't a dumbass. And if you aren't cooking for one, then you can have your SO or children load and empty it.
Let's not forget that you can easily make multiple serving at a time, even multiple meals in a given day, so you have leftovers for the week and only have to cook once or twice a week. You can easily spend a saturday evening cooking 3 or 4 meals and have frozen leftovers for two weeks and never have to cook a thing for the rest of that time.
You are poor because you have no time management skills, not the other way around.
