Sydney Sweeney, a registered Republican, has the โHOTTESTโ ad out there. Itโs for American Eagle, and the jeans are โflying off the shelves.โ Go get โem Sydney! On the other side of the ledger, Jaguar did a stupid, and seriously WOKE advertisement, THAT IS A TOTAL DISASTER! The CEO just resigned in disgrace, and the company is in absolute turmoil. Who wants to buy a Jaguar after looking at that disgraceful ad. Shouldnโt they have learned a lesson from Bud Lite, which went Woke and essentially destroyed, in a short campaign, the Company. The market cap destruction has been unprecedented, with BILLIONS OF DOLLARS SO FOOLISHLY LOST. Or just look at Woke singer Taylor Swift. Ever since I alerted the world as to what she was by saying on TRUTH that I canโt stand her (HATE!). She was booed out of the Super Bowl and became, NO LONGER HOT. I have a car loan for 728 monthly, 36 months, paid a single month so far, total of $25480 remaining over the next 3 years.
I can pay off the loan completely (requested a payoff quote) for $23,280.41. So I would save around $2200. I have this much cash on hand and could pay it off right now.
The $2.2k I would gain seems very small to me for the inconvenience of putting up the money up front, and I can very likely invest it for a profit. On the other hand I don't like being in debt, nor having shit taken out of my paycheck.

>>60737355>my modelCan you elaborate?
>>60737289It's silly. Even I, a dividend pussy, am starting to rotate my JEPI positions into JEPQ. Gotta play the game, boy. Tech is so gigatarded strong that buying a boomer indices just feels like a form of suicide.
I bought the dip so early last week that Iโm hardly breaking even at this point. Thereโs still so much juice to squeeze.
Buy more.
>>60737292>I was always paranoid that people could just run up the bid themselves on a alternative account. If they somehow win they just relist it and keep it going till someone pays a premium for itI don't know if it's still viable but I used to do that for a buddy. Our plan was if I ever accidentally won he'd just cancel and relist it.
>>60737359>buying a boomer indices just feels like a form of suicide.Suicide erases all your debt instantly, so it's still faster.
>>60737361Some faggot put ann expensive item on there and I won the bid which only went up to $40.
Then they didnโt honor the bid, refunded me, and relisted it with the bid starting at like $300.

>>60737358Hyperion units can be built and deployed in 3-6 months and capex $500-600k per unit, and produce 25 tons per year, with a $200k min net profit per ton.
Pays back capex in an 44 days of operation. Current contract pipeline with 60+ companies not including US DoD could result in 10,000 tons in the first year, and as much as 100,000 tons in 7-10 years. Their patent expires in 2036, so got a 10 year exclusive.
10000 * $200k = $2 billion with a PE of 40 results in $80 billion mcap. Throw in a defense contract or two for use in body armor or ballistic glass or some other major application, and quadruple the mcap.
Without defense, it could hit a trillion mcap in maybe 10 years or less.
I'm tempted to short American eagle

I'm less than 0.1% away from hitting my all time high from before the 1st. Starting to think that was just start of the month profit taking under the guise of a panic selloff.
>>60737449I did a deep dive to know if I wanted to risk big chunk of my portfolio. Think it's taken a while to get going due to engineering challenges and/or strategy (they originally wanted to license out the Hyperion units). Graphene was a meme last decade in the mid 2010s and kind of faded out since no one could produce lots of it at scale, so probably hard to attract VC funding. Canadian resource sector private equity picked it up.

>>60737375Lol that's happened to me, seller's remorse. He shouldn't have started the bidding so low, or put a reserve. One time a seller told me he coincidentally dropped and broke an item while he was packing it up so he had to cancel on me.

>>60737579divvies, probably. It's kind of funny how adamant he is against Berkshire ever dealing them out, but it's portfolio is extremely into yield-maxxing stocks. Makes sense given his strategy, but still, it's pretty humorous.
Did you know: all European ETFs are domiciled in Ireland because Ireland has a special agreement with the US where the US only withholds 15% of dividends instead of 30%?
For "Accumulating" European ETFs these dividends are automatically reinvested into the fund, so it never leaves Ireland and thus only the 15% tax is paid.
For "Distributing" European ETFs, the dividends go into investor pockets who each get taxed depending on country, usually 30% withheld by the US.
Imagine if Trump just pulled the plug on this.
